A tornado of light shot down from the sky into me, and I was surrounded by spirals of fire. Something was right today, I'd done it. I felt complete, having resurrected Stone, who was supposed to never be able to return to earth. I had one phrase picked out for meeting her. "Welcome back, my lord." I said. "It's nice to see you're still alive, Emily." She told me. The memories started flowing back as to why I hated that man, when she called me by that name. He'd killed the friends I'd loved, who'd done nothing wrong, just because their powers scared him. He wanted to get rid of all of those like me, just because he couldn't understand. I know he never will understand now, as not only are my friends gone, I'm stuck, one of a kind, all alone. All of those who were like me are dead now, because no-one could understand us. They were scared of our powers, and tried to kill us. I fought back, but that man came, and killed them off. He referred to himself simply as "The Sharpshooter". I wasn't sure if he had a real name, or not. I'd guess the Mayor was responsible for someone like him, but the Mayor is dead now, too. With the knowledge that Sharpshooter is still alive, and in charge now, he probably killed Mayor. They wouldn't suspect him, as they'd been friends their whole life. "Stone, I know where Sharpshooter is. Let's get our revenge." I said, with a huge grin on my face. "That's great" I heard her reply. I ran back to the mansion, and waiting for me was him, the Sharpshooter. "Where have you been, Alice?" He asked me. "That's not my name. I'm Emily." I said. "You should have died, Emily! What happened? You aren't supposed to come back!" He screamed, having lost it all. "I wanted to be able to live in a world where all humans are equal! The powers you had ruined that!" He continued. "That's a lie." I said. "You willingly accepted a power of your own. You were actively seeking more of it, obtaining all of them for yourself. I ruined that plan, just like you deserved." I finished. "You're right. I don't hate power, I hate what's not like me. I wanted the power for myself, just so I could control the world. If I could make myself more powerful than all the rest, I could have not only this country bow to me, but the whole world." He said. "I've come to finish you, you know that, right?" I said. "I figured as much. I won't fight back, since it's hopeless." He said. "If you were just Alice, I'd have killed you right then and there. Consider yourself lucky." He finished. I couldn't control my anger, and began to create a fire. The whole country was coated in fire, but I stood there, unharmed. Then, the mansion exploded. I didn't even try to make it do that. The rubble flew straight at me. "What I said about trying not to fight, that's a lie, too. You should be able to see through me by now." He said, laughing. "I've picked up some tricks while you were asleep." He said. I tried again, this time, channeling the same light that brought stone to me. I sent it inside of him, and he fell over. He wasn't bleeding, but I walked up to him, and surely enough, he'd stopped breathing. I'd gotten my revenge on him, but by mistake wound up hurting too many people. I needed to stop something like this from happening again, and I sent the light inside myself.

Inside a small room, I woke up. "It's nice to see it worked. You're OK! I wasn't sure you would make it back." A man said to me. "I don't understand. What happened?" I asked. "A great fire swept through the remains of a country. We'd finally been able to come back, since the fire stopped burning this year. You were the only one still alive after that 4 year long fire, although I'm not sure what effects it's had on you." He said.
