I woke the next day to my alarm clock, and the sound of my parents shouting. The only thing was, I couldn't tell which one was louder. The alarm, or they're voices. Well, I didn't want to know. I got out of bed slowly and tiredly, after another bad night's sleep. Night terrors..The same one as usual. The one of me being chased around a room and never getting out. Each night it shook me up worse. I walked into the bathroom, turning the shower on and undressing. I looked at myself in the mirror, and smiled slightly. I hardly liked anything about my body. Or just me. But one thing I loved, was my smile. I never knew why. I just always had. I smiled once more, and stepped into the shower, letting the water run down me. It was relaxing and refreshing, and I never wanted to get out. But I knew I had to. I had to face another day at the living hell named school. I washed my hair and my body, then I stepped out of the shower, drying myself with my Finding Nemo towel, following by wrapping it around me. I then walked into my room, peaking through my window blinds. The weather looked cloudy, and little droplets of rain were falling down. It was cold. Which meant a warm outfit. I walked to my wardrobe, looking in it and finding nothing to wear. Sighing, I looked in my drawers and and found a decent outfit and slipped it on. I knew it wasn't much, but it was comfy. I then worked on doing my hair and makeup, and headed downstairs. Skipping breakfast, as normal, and walking outside into the rain, ignoring my parents shouting. I walked down the driveway, and headed to school shivering. As soon as I walked through the gates of the school, I was hit with hurtful names. Freak. Stupidass. Fatty. All the usual stuff. I don't think anyone knew how much it hurt. I put my head down, and carried on walking until I reached my form group. I took my usual seat at the back, away from everyone else, and just zoned out. I think I was out for somewhere around 15 minutes, until I heard..That voice. "Thanks, Miss. Harper." I looked up. Seeing her. The same girl from yesterday. The pretty one. I watched her as she sat next to Logan. The worst of my bullies, as he tried flirting with her. She didn't seem phased, and just brushed him off. I couldn't help but let a tiny smile slip. I'll just have to look from a distance. I thought. It's not like she would notice me, anyway.
