(Ryan pov) 

Birds were chirping, slow but cold breeze were blowing .i open my eyes to admire the beauty of early morning.

“Again you slept in your office” mark my beta says

I didn’t hear the opening of the door but I don’t face him, not even replied

“You know like this……..nothing going to change” he took sit in front of me in balcony

“I know”

“so why are you stressing so much”

“You know why …….I can’t accept their conditions”

“Why not”

“……”

“See you don’t have any answer and…………. you know I don’t think it’s that bad…”

“THAT BAD …….DUDE IT’S TOTALLY BAD  ... …” said loudly

He put his hands up in surrender

“Relax ok…….”

I take a deep breath and look at him

“You are my friend how you suppose to say that it’s not bad …how can they do this”I said frustrated

“You know they actually give you an option it’s not like they impose it on you”

“OPTION……. You think these are options……….either get married to alpha daughter or combine your pack with other pack for at lest 5 year…both the options are wrong….I can’t get married to a stranger whom I don’t know …even don’t see….and leave that I even don’t want to get married now…especially now ….and if I refuse marriage I don’t want my pack to combine with other pack its my pack ….FOR GOD SAKE….. They can’t do this don’t they know who packs act towards rouges they treat them like dirt and we have enough of it already ………. ”

I start pacing madly

“I know what you mean even I don’t like the second option I mean we have enough and now when we think to get settle down this problem arise”

“EXACTLY…that what I am saying”

“but I don’t understand why you not choosing first option I mean look at you ……..its time you get married ….boys of your age find their mate and get married already….even our pack also need an alpha female ..You know”

I gave him a point look

“Is that so…… then where is your mate …….”

“You know I waiting for her…….and that’s not the point, the point is why you don’t want to get married”

“I already have so much responsibility toward pack and I don’t want to have another one”

He looks at me like I’m an idiot

“You know it’s not like that ……and the girl is alpha daughter so there is no question of responsibility even I think she may help you to lessen you responsibility ……..” mark say in matter of fact tone

I put my head in my hands as i sit down back in my chair

“problem is something else …which we both know ….but maybe you don’t want to accept….but I just want to say one thing what ever you decide think about the pack because they trust you , believe you and follow you……and love you no matter what you decide”
