2 years later...

Lyric's POV
I was sitting in the living room with Bailey watching TV. She can walk but she won't talk. I thought it was normal because I didn't say my first word till I was one, and Bailey is almost two in 3 days. Luke walked in the door and Bailey walked to him and grabbed his leg. "Hey babygirl." he said. He picked her up and kissed her cheek. "Nothing." I said. He gave me a smile. "She'll talk, just give her time." he said and kissed me.

I was in the kitchen with Bailey, who was coloring in her coloring book. She came over to me and hugged my leg. "Hi Bae." I said grabbing a snack for her. She nodded and walked in the living room where Luke was on the phone with Ash. She sat on his lap and I smiled at them.

Luke's POV
Lyric has been upset that Bae hasn't said her first word and she is going to be two in 3 days. So I called an expert. Ashton Irwin. "Mate I have no idea what to do." I said. "Let me take her for the day and you and Lyric go out and have a good time." he said. "How is this going to help?" I asked. "I will get her to say something somehow." he said. "Okay. Thanks mate. I'm glad I can count on you." I said. "No problem." he said and hung up.

I walked in to the kitchen, where Lyric was cooking. "Ash has agreed to watch Bae while we go out." I said. "What about Bae? What if she says her first word while we are out?" she asked. "We need to get her party ready on Thursday okay." I said. "Okay fine." she said.

We dropped Bae at Ash's house and we went out and go her party things. I got her somethings whilst we were out as well.

Ashton's POV
I was hanging with Bae in the kitchen. She pointed to a picture of Luke that was on my refrigerator. "Yeah, that's your daddy. He would be the most happiest daddy in the world if you said his name right in front of him." I said. "Daddy." she said. "Good girl, now shhh. Wait for the surprise on you birthday." I told her. She put her index finger on her lips.

Lyric's POV
Me and Luke picked Bae up from Ashton's house. She ran to me and Luke. "Hi Bae." I said. She waved at me and smiled. Ashton had a cheesy grin on his face. "I'll go put Bae in the car." Luke said. "Okay." I said. I looked to Ash. "What did Luke put you up to?" I asked. "He asked me to help with Bae. How she cant talk and she is almost two." he said. "Thanks Ash." I said and walked out.

Thursday...
Lyric's POV
I woke up to Bae laying on me. "Hi babygirl." I said running my hand through her blond hair. "Hi mummy." she said. My eyes got big at what she did. "Luke, she said her first word." I said shaking him. "What?" he said. "Daddy awake." she said. Luke looked at her. "Hi Bae." he said. "Hi daddy." she said and sat on his lap. "I dis many today dada." she said holding three fingers. "Yeah. You're a big girl. Soon enough we are going to have to buy you a big girl bed." he said. "Yeah." she said. "Cuddle dada?" she said. "Yeah let's cuddle." he said. "What about me?" I said. "You can cuddle too mummy." Bae said. Bae laid between me and Luke as we cuddle altogether.

5 minutes later...
"Hey birthdays girl!!" Calum yelled through the house and into our room. "Go away! I'm snuggling with my mummy and daddy!" Bae said. "Well I'll be damned." Ashton said. "Lets party." Michael said.

Bae's party was awesome. She was talking up a storm. "Alright chatter box. It's time for you to got to bed." I said. "But mummy. I wanna stay up. I'm a big girl now." she said. "But not as big as mommy." I said picked her up. "Aw shit." Bae said. Everyone laughed at her. "That's the last time she's getting away with that." Luke said. "Next time it's your birthday money in the swear jar." Luke said.
