"i don't know," elanora trailed off, biting her lip. "it's just your number babe, it's not a big deal," niall said resting his hand on hers. she blushed and typed her number into his phone as he did the same to her's. "we should go out sometime," niall stated confidently.

"i kind of just got out of something, whatever it was," elanora mumbled. "oh, i'm sorry," niall said softly. "it's whatever," she mumbled tucking her hair behind her ears.

"it looks like this guy really hurt you. whenever you're ready to move past it, i'll be here. he doesn't know what he lost, you're a keeper," niall said before glancing up to see two men motioning him upstairs.

"see you around beautiful," he said kissing her hand like a gentleman before leaving to attend to business.

niall glared at his men who looked at him nervously. they know better than to interrupt him when he is talking to a beautiful woman.

"what?" he snapped sharply at them. "boss the police are up in your office. they want access to videos in the club. apparently some small time drug dealer was in here after he shot someone a few blocks down the street," nick grimshaw stuttered out nervously.

niall radiated with confidence and dominance. he intimidated most people. "i'll be upstairs dealing with them. keep an eye on the girl i was with. make sure her and her friends are safe," he barked the order to josh devine, another one of his men. josh nodded and headed off to find them.

niall took one last look at elanora who was walking through the dance floor to get to the other side of the club. she was so small and beautiful. her wavy brown hair and her almond-shaped doe eyes drove him crazy.

niall walked up the stairs and into the office. he was immediately greeted by two police officers who were looking out his black, tinted glass windows that looked down at the club. "how can i help you boys?" niall said loosening his tie and taking a seat in his black leather office chair.

niall was great. he was so confident and sweet, but he was no harry. elanora couldn't stop thinking about that stupid, beautiful asshole. she hated that she felt incomplete without him while he was probably doing fine without her. she felt bad for turning niall down but she couldn't help but think that harry would turn up at her doorstep with roses and a sweet apology.

when she got back to the bar, she saw joey downing shots with sofia. "hey guys, we should get going. it's like two in the morning," elanora shouted over the music.

she and sofia carried a stumbling joey outside to the car. "i'm never letting you drink this much again, ever," elanora told him as she set him down in the back seat. sofia hopped in the front seat while elanora started the vehicle. "shit. everything is kinda spiny. i can't drive," elanora groaned as she shut off the ignition.

a tap on the window caused her to look up. she saw a boy with shaggy brown hair and blue eyes motioning for her to wind down her window.

"um, hi?" elanora said slowly to the stranger. "hi! i'm josh devine. the boss, mr. horan, wanted me to make sure you and your friends got out safe. it seems like you cannot drive. i can drive you guys home," josh devine offered. "i really don't know you, so" elanora trailed off. she didn't want to come across as rude but this man was a stranger and she didn't know what he was capable of.

"i can assure you that i'm not a murderer or a rapist or anything. mr. horan just wants to make sure you reach home safe," he said persuasively. elanora gave in and got in the back with joey while this josh guy drove her and her friends home.

he was nice enough, cracking jokes with them and putting up with joey's cheesy pick up lines. josh helped her get a drunk joey inside of his house and drop sofia off as well. when they pulled up at elanora's house, they both got out and he handed her the keys.

"thank you so much for this. how are you going to get back?" elanora asked. "my mate is picking me up three blocks away from here," he said. elanora nodded and walked towards her house. "hey elanora. i just wanted to say that my boss doesn't normally do this. he must really like you," josh said before walking down the dark street.

elanora entered her house and made a mental note to send a thank you text to niall in the morning. she took her heels off and walked straight into her bedroom, collapsing on her bed.

harry
harry was spending the night at zayn's house. he really didn't want to go home to an empty house. erin was in tokyo with her friends for an event and wasn't going to be back for a few days.

"pass me the chips," zayn ordered holding his hand out. his eyes were glued to the television as they watched "arrow". zayn was hooked on the show. harry rolled his eyes and leaned on to the small table to pick the chips up. "here," harry said handing it to zayn who immediately stuffed his face.

"doesn't felicity remind you of perrie?" zayn said tilting his head to the side and pushing his glasses up. "not the looks but the personality is a bit similar. they are both quite bossy," harry replied.

"why don't you just ask her out zayn? everyone in the office already knows. hell, simon even has a no dating rule in the office but he knows and he doesn't mind," harry said to his best mate. "girl's like her don't come around often, my good man. you need to take your time with precious gems like perrie," zayn said taking a sip of coke.

harry smiled at his romantic goofball of a friend. "you're too much zayn. i'm going to bed," harry said getting off of the couch and going into one of zayn's guest rooms. he got into bed and checked his phone.

his finger skimmed over the once familiar number. he missed elanora but he knows he fucked up really bad. he bit his lips and locked his phone, putting it on the nightstand. he needs to think of a way for elanora to forgive him. he needed her in his arms once again.
