Lizzy and Simon - fancy meal

Simons POV

It is the day of mine and Lizzy's first date after our little hiccup in our relationship. I want to make her feel special and that she will know that she is the only one for me. I know I've made her feel as if she isn't mine but today she will. I decided not to tell her the location and what we will be doing on our date apart from telling her the dress code I wanted it to be a secret.

Lizzy's POV

I was so nervous today. I had given Simon a second chance to save our relationship as I knew deep down he regretted the things he did and wants to make mends for his mistakes and how he treated me. I love him, but if that ever happens again, I would have to end the relationship even when I know it'll kill me to leave him. One can't have as many chances as a cat, right? He never told me where we were going just how I should dress. I plan out my outfit before heading into the shower.

I dry myself off and start to curl my hair before putting on a short tight-fitted black dress. Black always complimented my body so would usually wear it, even in the summer. I put on light makeup but make my eyeliner thicker for today. I hear a knock at door and knew it would be Simon waiting for me. "Coming!" I shout and quickly put on my black heels. I stumble to the door and open it up to not to reveal Simon but JJ. "Hey JJ" I give him a smile which he returns. "You look beautiful Lizzy. Simon is gonna be blown away" I blush slightly as JJ's compliment before following downstairs and out the front door.

Before opening the door for me, he turned around and pulled out what looked like a blindfold from his back pocket. "Simon said to wear this or otherwise it'll ruin the surprise." I take the blindfold and carefully place it over my eyes without ruining my makeup. JJ helps me into the car and we begin our silent but not awkward drive.

After what seemed like forever, the car comes to a stop and I hear JJ get out and my door opening. I hold out my hand for JJ to take so he can guide me to whoever Simon was. He gently takes my hand and pulls me up from the car. I stumble slightly as I get used to not seeing and walking.

What seemed like a short walk up some stairs and me becoming cold from the light breeze, I start to hear a song. I begin to listen intently and realise it's the same song that played at the restaurant of mine and Simons first date. "Have fun." I hear JJ whisper to me before letting go of my hand and his footsteps in the distance. "You can take the blindfold off now Zy-Zy" I smile at hearing Simons voice and at the first time him calling me 'Zy-Zy' in a while. Oh how much I've missed him calling me by nickname. He's the only one who I let call me Zy-Zy. I take off the blindfold and I'm face with a smartly dressed Simon staring at me while grinning. "You look stunning." He gives me a wink. "You're not looking too bad yourself Minter" I look him up and down before staring directly into his glimmering blue eyes that sparkled in the glim light coming from the hanging fairy lights. I look around at the surroundings and take in the view from what seemed like a rooftop. It was beautiful. I tilt my head at Simon realising what he has done. He has made this date like how our first ever one went. I walk up to him and give him a peck on the cheek before thanking him. "Take a seat." He gestures me to the table next to him with a bottle of champagne in a bowl full of ice. He really went full on out to make me feel special. Oh god I love this guy so much.

*skip to after dinner*

We begin to laugh at remembering how drunk Vikk had gotten on our trip to Aiya Napa a while ago and his 'amazing' dancing. "I'd never seen him so out of it!" The thought of remembering that night made me erupt in laughter again. My breathing begins to steady again as I look up to see Simon staring at me. "What is it si?" I questionably ask him while fiddling with the side of my plate. "I'm just admiring how amazing you look" he takes hold of my hand and pulls my chin up to make u shave eye contact. I felt butterflies in my stomach, the same way I felt when I first met him. He leans over and pulls me in for a romantic kiss. I felt as if I fell in love with my Si again. "You're my girl Zy-Zy."
