Chapter 6: Deadly Viper

I sat there in silence. This means that I have parents. And there may be a possibility that I have brothers or sisters or both.

I looked over at James who was looking through the window. After about 5 seconds of looking out of the window, he cursed and got out of view from the window.

"Shit, Lili. We gotta go, now!"

"What? What's going on?"

Seconds later his mom rushes through the door with a shot gun

"James, they are here. Go, NOW!! "

"Mom we are NOT leaving you!!!"

"Hey guys... What the hell is going on?"

"Look somebody has to hold them off. You are wasting time go no-"

"CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!! ", I was flustered and felt nauseous.

BOOM!!

I heard the front door get kicked in and running footsteps climbing up the stairs.

"Shit."

James handed me a gun.

"What the hell is this fo-"

"Just aim and shoot."

BOOM!!

Men in all black rushed into James' bedroom, launching directly towards me. Aim. Shoot. How hard can that be when you're about to shit your pants?

I dodged the men flying in my direction. There was about 9 men. Obviously they were after me. Why send 9 men for one girl?

As the possibilities roam through my head, I am tackled to the floor, the gun sliding across the room. Me and the man wrestle to get to my gun. He grabbed the gun and aimed it to my face.

POW!!POW!!POW!!

There was 3 shots and a long rim of silence. I was so terrified. My eyes were closed so tight that my top and bottom lashes intertwined. There was no pain. I wasn't shot. But there was so much blood yet it wasn't mine. The man's body laid limp on top of me as a pool of blood was created underneath us. I opened my eyes to a heavily-breathing James, with a smoking gun in his hand.

"We gotta go."

Pushing the deceased man off of me, he helped me up and grabbed his mother's hand.
