Sick Terror

Faith's POV
I woke up to Sousuke shaking me,"Wh-What is it?" I asked groggily, half expecting it to be him just having a nightmare, another side effect of antidepressants. When I looked over, I knew it was so much worse than that. "F-Faith, I-I-" I cut him off,"What the hell!?" I yelled when I looked up, he looked horrible, his face was pale, blood ran down from his nose and mouth and was now dripping onto his clothes and hands, and tears ran out of his eyes, which we're filled with the look of terror.

"I-I don't know. I-I woke up covered in blood and-and-" he winced and held his head,"My head really hurts." His voice cracked in pain,"Sousuke we-we need to get you to the hospital!" I reached over and grabbed the phone, his expression got that much more scared as he went pure white, he knew by the tone I was knowing that even I was scared, and I don't get scared. He grabbed his head and brought his knees up to his chest, strangled sobs coming out of his throat. "F-Faith I-I'm scared. What's happening?" He cried and grabbed my arm, his eyes filled with the look of a terrified child, I had never seen him like this, it broke my heart.

Sousuke's POV
It felt like my head had been bashed with a truck from the inside out. I rocked back and forth on the bed and wailed, Faith called 911 and stood up,"So-Somethings wrong with my boyfriend, he-he said his head hurt and he's bleeding badly, we need an ambulance!" She spoke. She nodded and hung up, immediately climbing back on the bed beside me, she grabbed my arm and looked into my eyes which were getting blurry and little lights were swimming in my vision, I was about to pass out from the pain.

"Look Sousuke, the ambulance will be here soon. Just-just calm down and try to stay with me!" She said, my vision was fading to black and my head went numb, along with the rest of my body, I passed out.

I woke up in the hospital, the sun was rising and Faith was talking to a doctor,"F-Faith?" I stuttered in a raspy voice, then coughed."Oh my god you're awake!" She ran over to me and hugged me,"How's your head?" She asked,"It still hurts, but not as badly." I rubbed my head,"Would you like to explain to him what happened?" The female doctor who was maybe In her late twenties asked,"Yes please." Faith sat down and held my hand,"Sousuke, you had a seizure in your sleep."

Faith's POV
Sousuke gasped, his eyes going wide,"Wh-What?!" His eyes began to water,"Your brain reacted to something in your body and you had a seizure, sir." The doctor told him,"So I'm going to have to ask you a few questions." He nodded and wiped Hus eyes with his sleeve,"You have been seeing Dr.Moray, correct?" She asked,"Yes?" He tilted his head,"Well we found that your body was counteracting the antideppresants he gave you, giving you the seizure. I'm sorry sir, you're going to have to stop taking these pills until we can find some that your body will not decline." She frowned,"H-How long will that take?" He asked,"A month to two months, possibly more. I'm sorry." She looked down.

Sousuke began to have an anxiety attack, his breathing began to hitch and tears rolled down his cheeks,"Two months!?" He cried out,"I'm sorry." The woman sighed,"We can't have you be taking pills that your body does not agree with, your brain could be damaged badly, or even worse, it could be fatal."

"WHAT?!"

We each yelled in unicen and began to speak frantically, Sousuke crying on the bed and me getting out of my chair.
"I could die?! I don't wanna die!"
"Cmon there must be something that takes less time!"
"Please!"
"You must think of something!"
"I can't go without them for that long!"
"Calm down!" The female doctor finally spoke up, making us both jump,"I'm sorry, I'll give you two some time alone." Then she walked out.

Sousuke's POV
Faith fell back into her chair and stared at a wall, completely void of anything but terror."Faith, you-you know I can't go long without my pills! You remember what happened when I missed a day!" I felt my eyes burn, the first-and only-time I skipped a day by accident, I went completely insane. Negative thoughts flooded my head and I cut, then almost overdosed until Faith caught me.

"I-I'm sorry Sou, I don't want you to di-"
"I'LL DIE EITHER WAY!"
I almost screamed, making Faith jump back in her seat,"What do you mean?" She asked,"If I can't spend a day without the antidepressants without almost killing myself, how do you think I can do it for a month?" I tried to calm myself,"I'll probably kill myself..." Then I broke down, I held my head in my hands and cried in shame and agony, I couldn't believe the things I was saying, I truly believed the end was coming for the 19 year old Sousuke Yamazaki.

"No!" Faith stood up, snapping me out of my trance. "I will not let you do that!" She yelled,"You can't keep watch of me 24\7 for a month or two! You need sleep, you have work, you need to get out and go shopping for food and you need space." I spoke,"No. First off, if I have to stay up all night to make sure you don't do anything stupid, I will. I'm sure my work will let me get out, I'm good friends with my boss and I've been working there for five years. Lily has said before, if there's any point where I need something, whether it be food or a night to go to a fucking strip joint, she'll do it, she'll make sure I have it. Lastly, fuck my space, I don't care if I get so fucking annoyed with you I want to ram into a wall, which I won't, I won't fucking leave your side, your life is basically in my hands, and I will hold it tight and keep it safe until the day I die." She looked at me, by now I was silent, my jaw fell and I felt more tears prick at my eyes, she finally sat down and held my hand,"You sure?" I asked,"As sure as I am stubborn, and you know how much that is." She smiled, I smiled and let out a small laugh,"A lot."

"I love you and I won't let you do anything like that."
