Chapter 1: The Other Side of the Portal

Okay thanks for reading the first chapter and on!! Please feel free to comment any grammar mistakes i may make through out the whole fic. I would really appreciate it. Oh! and I will be adding in bold in these little notes i make if its a children's chapter or parents.

*Childrens Chapter*

Ophelia's POV

The first thing I woke up to was the sound of Nina and Shiro arguing.

"Where are we!"

"How am I suppose to know?"

"I don't know maybe because this is your idea!"

"Fair enough"

As they continued to argue I realized I was the last one to wake up. I took in my surroundings a bit, there was a town surrounded by walls that was connected to what seemed to be a castle.

"Hey there's a town over there maybe we should go check it out?" I asked the group. "We can probably find out where we are there."

"Good idea lets do that," Nina agreed scowling at the Hoshidan prince. 

As we began to walk, I couldn't help but look at my mark. It felt like it had some connection to this strange place.

"Hey Ophelia! That mark I have it too! How cool!" The bright but kind of annoying blonde girl exclaimed.

"What? Father told me it was a mark that ran in his family how could you have it? Wait are Odin and Laslow related some how?" I pondered

"I guess it's the only thing that would explain it." She said jumping ahead of me. "Well we can chat more about this later. I have to check up on Kana." She said as she hurried to her younger brothers side.

"It's time we take a break" A pink haired girl yawned.

"I agree with Mitama. We've been walking for a long time now and my feet ache" the young green haired girl agreed.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt" Shiro said as he stretched and sat down on a rock.

Later,

*Kiragi's POV*

"Hey, I can go hunting for some food if anyone's hungry?" I asked as my stomach growled.

"That's a great idea! Me, Soleil, and Dwyer can go to just make sure you don't get hurt." My older cousin answered.

"But, i can go-"

"No, we're coming with you. I can't risk loosing anyone... I couldn't live with myself if anything bad happened here to any of you... it would be all my fault." He said seriously.

He had a point we didn't know the area and we couldn't risk anyone going alone.

"Okay that's fine" I agreed as I grabbed my bow.

"Well this will be fun," dwyer dead-panned.

"Oh lighten up its not that bad," Soleil said as she stretched.

Shiro stopped and looked around.

"What is it?" I said worrying it might be a hoard of faceless or even worse bandits.

"I hear something" he said cautiously.

All of a sudden out of no where, a girl came charging at us. Shiro blocked her attack with his naginata.

"Who are you people? and where are the rest of you?" She asked while struggling to hold up her sword stance against Shiro's naginata. The girl was almost covered in dark blue from her tunic to her boots even her hair was the same shade of blue as the rest of her armor. A top her head sat a gold headband that might also be a crown, which may mean she's royalty.

"Who are you? and can we just talk we're not trying to harm you or this place... where are we anyway?" Shiro asked the girl who looked about the age of my father and Prince Leo.

"I'm Princess Lucina of Ylisse. I'm guessing you traveled here through a portal." Lucina said lowering her sword. "Where are you from?"

"Well, we're from-"

"Oh my gods, your adorable! and a princess too! how cute!" Soleil cut off Shiro.

"Thank you?" She responded confused.

"Anyways, we're from Hoshido and Nohr. I'm Shiro, crown prince of Hoshido, the girl that just interrupted you is Princess Soleil, of well I guess Nohr it's complicated, that's Prince Kiragi, my younger cousin, and gloomy butler boy over there is Dwyer." He introduced

"Hi!" I said with a warm smile

"Hey maybe wanna get some tea with me one day?" Soleil just had to ask.

"Ummm... Maybe? You remind me a lot of my brother, Inigo." She replied hesitantly.

"Oh cool! I would take you to dance like father does with my mother but I'm absolutely terrible at dancing." Soleil stated she seemed to really like Lucina.

"That's fine. My mother is a dancer and so is my brother, but I was never any good at it like they were." Lucina revealed obviously trying to cheer Soleil up.

"How about we take Lucina here to everyone else?" Dwyer asked visably annoyed with us.

"Good idea Dywer!"

"Shiro, please don't talk to me." Dwyer said riding away on his horse.
