Chapter 2: Candy Shop

                       *GWYNN'S POV*
"You guys talked for like 2 hours." My brother groans.
"Sorry." I apologize.
We stand in front of the edge of the driveway, "Should we go left or right, Harvey?" I ask him.
"Left." He says walking that direction.
I follow him.
The roads are dark and almost brick like. The skies are dark and it's really cold.
"Do you like it here so far?" I ask him.
"Yep!" He smiles.
When we are walking we see a candy shop.
"Candy!" He yells.
"Want something from there?" I ask.
"Yes!" He starts running towards it.
"Wait up!" I run and catch up to him.
We arrive and my brother opens the old double white door.
Bells chime as he opens it and an old voice says, "Hello!"
"Hi." My brother and I both say.
"I want these." My brother says holding up a Crunchie bar.
"Alright." I nod my head.
I get a Yorkie bar and we go to check out.
"Should we get that boy at our house something?" My brother asks while the lady rings our candy up.
"Good idea." I say.
"Go pick him out something." I say nudging towards where all the candy is sitting.
He walks over and grabs another Crunchie bar.
"I'll add this too." I say, sitting down the candy bar on the counter.
After paying, we do a short walk home. We walk up the driveway and then up the short path.
I look around and Joe isn't to be found.
"Where's the boy?" My brother asks.
"Don't know." I say walking to the front door.
On the door there is a sticky note. I pull it off and read it; Sorry for not staying. Had to go to my next clients house. Ring me here: /phone #/ -Joe Sugg☻
I smile at the note.
"He had to go, more candy for you." I announce to my brother.
"Yay!" He cheers.
I open the door and we both walk upstairs.
"Where'd you guys go?" My mom asks from downstairs.
"Just walked around and then went to a candy shop." I say back.
"Did you like it?" She asks.
"Yep." I say.

I go upstairs and take off my shoes. I plop on the floor since we don't have furniture yet.

I go on my phone and add Joe's number. I text him:

Me: Hey it's Gwynn:)

After that I go downstairs and talk to my mom.
"When am I starting university?" I ask her.

"2 weeks. You excited." I groan and walk away

"I guess not..." She says, raising her eyebrows.

When I go upstairs I go onto my phone to see if Joe has answered. He has!

Me: Hey it's Gwynn:)

Joe Sugg😜: Hey. What are you up to?

I look around at what I'm doing and I realize I'm just sitting on the ground.

Me: Nothing wbu?

I wait a couple seconds and then he responds with:

Joe Sugg😜: That sounds boring. Want to come over for some tea?

Me: Sounds great. What's your address?

He gives me his address and I call up a cab.

I look down at my outfit and think it's too much for tea, but I'm too lazy to change. So I just put back on my combat boots, refresh my makeup and brush out my light brown hair. I really want to cut short and dye it all a rose gold color but I will have to do that later on.

I spray some perfume on, then I grab my black bag.

I sneak down stairs and yell to my parents, "I'm gonna go for a walk again."

If I told them I was going to be hanging out with a boy who works at our house I don't think they would approve.

"Have fun." My mom yells from the other room.

"Thanks." I say closing the door.

I wait a couple minutes outside and then finally the cab pulls up.

I smile and walk up towards it.
