Our complications

Chapter 3

Rosemary's POV

We were parked outside of the church.I mean I guess I'm a little excited but I'm kind of scared what if everyone hates me!

" You can come with me and your mom or you can go to the teenage room" Rob said getting out of the car.

"Umm, I think I'll go to the teenage one thanks " I said back

"Okay see ya later! the teen room is over there" Rob said pointing to a building

"Okay thanks bye!" I said walking away.

I walked in everyone was talking and laughing they all looked like they were having a great time! everyone looked like they kind of had their own groups but were friendly with all the other groups. There was an empty seat in the back so I decided to take it then who I think was the main pastor came in and told everyone to sit down and that service was about to start. For some reason I felt like some one was staring at me so I looked in the direction I thought it was coming from and I seen a boy looking at me but quickly looked away when he seen that I saw him. Then I began to day dream and getting snapped out of my thoughts I heard the pastor say,

"Okay is anyone new today?"

I didn't want to raise my hand I didn't enjoy being the center of attention. I guess people noticed I was new when everyone was looking around for who would raise their hand.

This girl yelled," hey I've never seen you before ! Your new huh, Robert she's new!" She told the pastor while pointing at me.

I was probably as red as a tomato!

So the pastor said " okay everyone say hello to.... I'm sorry I never got your name what was it?"

I cleared my throat " umm, R-R-Rosemary."

"Okay Rosemary well I'm Robert the main teenage pastor, everyone say hello to Rosemary ."

"HI ROSEMARY" everyone said

I just did a little smile in return. After service I went to go wait for my mom and Rob when the boy that I saw looking at me came up to me.

"Hi!" He said

"Hey " I said in return

"So your new to this church?"

"Um yeah this is my step-dads church.."

I got nervous and dropped some papers that they had handed out. This guy is really cute! I was going down to pick the papers up but he stopped me.

"Don't worry I got it " he said bending down and started gathering the papers, I couldn't help but smile. then he gave me my papers

"Thanks! that was nice of you." I told him

"No problem." He said

Then some random guy ran and jumped on his back .
