Hazellynn's POV

I felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket. I pulled it out and it was an incoming call from Arie. OMG! Finally! I quickly answer the phone calmly. "Hello?" I heard a cry from the other line. "Arie?! Arie! Is that you?!" she whimpered an mhm. "Ariella! Where the hell are you?! I've been worried sick! What's wrong?!" I yelled through the phone.

She started crying. "I don't know! But I'm scared! I got robbed and beaten pretty badly. Come help me! PLEASE!" she yelped.

My heart dropped when she said she got beaten. Aww no! I began to worry more. With one of my hands going through my hair. (you know when people do that in movies? They like get a phone call and they have a worried look on there face and their hand is in there hair? that's what i'm trying to explain here. lol) "Arie! Where are you?! I'm coming!"

She sniffled. "Um, 14th Street." she sniffles again. "Hurry Haze! I need help!" she cried.

"Don't you worry Arie, I'll be their as soon as I can...I promise!" I said ending call and placing my phone back into my back pocket. I began running glancing up at the street sign looking for 14th Street. That's when I completely lost it. A tear escaped my eye. No, no! Don't cry Hazellynn! You're stronger than this! Toughen up Haze! I told myself. I rarely ever cry and i'm not gunna start now!

I kept running till I found 14th Street. I looked around but couldn't find Arie. "ARIE!?" I shouted. I paused, waiting to see if I could get a response.

"HAZEL?! Is that you?!" a voice shouted coming from my left. I quickly ran in to that direction. When I spotted her, I immediately paused/froze. OMG! What the fuck happened to her?! She's all beaten up! I wish it was me that got beaten and robbed and not her! I feel horrible to let my best friend go through that. She's not really the strongest person I know. I slowly walked up to her kneeing down on one knee and sitting on the back of my heel.

"Arie...? What the fuck happened..?!" I calmly shouted in a whisper. She glanced up at me. Her face is cherry red from her crying. One side of her lip was black and blue and it also looked like it was cut open a little. I gasped, putting my hands over my lips. Her arms were also badly bruised and she had a black eye on her left eye. One of her nostrils, which must have been bleeding, had dried up blood.

That's when I couldn't hold it in anymore. I completely lost it, tears now streaming down my face like a waterfall. "I know, it's bad." she said sadly looking back at the ground. "But please don't cry." she demanded holding back tears.

"I'm sorry, but I can't hold back my tears." I told her wiping away my tears.

She chuckled a little. "It's fine. I guess. But, I don't know if I can walk."

"Oh..?" I said with confusion, lifting one of my eye brows up. She nodded. "Want me to call an ambulance?" I asked and before she could answer my question, she frightenly gasped. I turn around to see this guy all dressed in black with a black ski mask covering his face so only his eyes were visible.

"Give me all the money you have! Now! Asshole!" his yelling frightened me and made me flinch. I thought for a moment.
