Chapter 28

Hazellynn's POV

That instant, when Louis got pummeled to the ground, I gasped as my heart sunk into my stomach. I could feel the tears coming but I held them back. I immediately stood up and looked over at Arie who's mouth was open. I looked at Harry who was looking at me.

I walked over to Harry and Arie. "Can I go see him?!" I whispered as a lump formed into my throat telling me that I'm going to cry. Harry nodded. "Where can I find him?!" I sniffled.

"Go down the stairs and basically walk all around the dome and you'll see a door that says Rovers Team. Knock on the door and hopefully Liam will let you in. I'll text him to let him know you're on your way." Harry told me. I nodded, running out of the section I was in and ran down the stairs and around the whole dome until I found the door that Harry told me to knock on.

I knocked on it. While I was waiting for Liam to open the door, I quickly caught my breath as I was trying to hold back the tears forming in my eyes. Not even 20 seconds later, the door opened and Liam was their. He looked at me and gestures me to come in without any words.

I nodded and slowly walked in as Liam lead the way to wherever Louis was located. We turned around a corner and there, I saw my baby laying down on the ground with paramedics surrounded him. I got a glimpse of his face. His facial expressions expressed that he was in excruciating pain. I gulped and slowly walked closer to him. He didn't notice me until I knelt down by his face.

He looked into my eyes and mouthed I love you. I mouthed it back. He tried to smile but he was in too much pain. I looked down at his knee and saw that it was black, purple, and blue plus it was swollen. I gasped at the sight, bring my hand up to my mouth. The paramedics quickly wrapped up his knee with ice and told him to rest and take it easy for a couple hours until the swelling has gone down and after that, they left.

It was just me, Liam, and Louis in the team room. Louis looked at Liam then at me then back to Liam again. "Liam, can I talk to Haze alone for a couple moments?" he breathed.

Liam nodded and graciously turned around and walked away. Now it's just me and Lou.

Louis sat up leaning up against the wall, his knee that was hurt, was straight out while his other knee was bent to keep him siting up steadily.

"L-lou! What happened?!" I sniffled taking hold of his hand. He accepted it.

He took a deep breath. "I was dribbling the ball down the field and WOOSH, this guy slide tackles me bring my knee down and bending it to the side." he said through the pain. A tear dropped down on my cheek. "Love, why are you crying?" He whispered wiping away my escaping tear.

I sniffled. "Cause, I love you and it was such a surprise to me that you got hurt, badly." I silently began crying as he pulled me close to him making my head lean against his bare shoulder. He wrapped his arm around me and shushed me till I became more calm.

"Please don't cry, I hate seeing you cry. But it shows me that you don't care to cry in front of me. And it also shows that you care. Hazel, I love you." he whispered into my ear leaning his head on mine.

I looked up into his eyes and wiped away any tears left. "I love you too, Lou. I really do." I kissed his cheek.

He snickered. "No."

I looked up at him again with confusion that wiped across my face. "What?"

"No, you don't know how much I love you Hazel. I love you so so sooooo much. Nothing in this world can take you away from me. I won't let that happen ever. You're here to stay-with me, forever."
