Love in a Game

The Journey Begins

     Jack and Shaco walked down the narrow path. Jack now having his whole arm around Shaco's shoulders helping her stand, he also had a hold of her hand so she could support herself up while Jack guided her. Once they reached the village though she was able to walk all on her own.  Jack let go of her hand, and when he did Shaco felt a little sad. 

     They entered the village and began to look around. It looked a bit like the previous one just a bit bigger. Here also they could see more of the land of Falcorth. They were high on a hill that slowly slopped down, into which the land opened up. Looking out to see where all the trails go Jack noticed out into the distance two tall wooden towers. He then noticed one had a ship docked onto the top of it. he wondered where it went to as it took off and slowly flew into the distance. 

     Jack coming back to looking at the village noticed Shaco no longer at his side. He did a couple quick turns to see that she was standing in front of a table with various flowers that someone was selling. Shaco leaned over the table and picked up a small red flower and sniffed it. She had a slight shiver down her spine for just how sweet it smelt.

     Jack walked over to the tabled, "Sorry for bothering you sir". Jack said as he put his arm around Shaco and slowly walked away.

    "No problem, no harm done"! The man said, "She adorable, a good avatar you have there". He said with a creepy smile. Jack turned around with Shaco in his arms with a weird feeling about that guy. Only to see a female firran waving at them. 

     "Hi there"! She exclaimed, "my name is Shashan! And I know every firran starting their journey, but I don't recognize you. So that means you're new here right"?

    While she talked Jack walked over to her with Shaco. "Ah yea, hi", Jack said awkwardly. "My names Jack, and this is my avatar, Shaco"  

     "Nice to meet you Jack"! She said to them with a smile, "And you too, Shaco".

    Shaco just blushed in response and dug her head into Jack's shoulder. "haha, they're all shy when they start out, don't worry she'll warm up soon enough". Shashan said looking at Shaco with a smile.

   "Now then, you may be wondering how I know everyone right"? She asked while Jack and Shaco just look at her confused.

    "That's because I train everyone the basics about battling and getting you on your way"! Shashan said, looking like she was ready to get her bow out and shoot something.

    "Oh, alright great", Jack said with a smile, "where do we start"? He said lowering his grip from Shaco's shoulders.

     "Right over here"! Shashan exclaimed and waved for them to follow. She walked out from between the two tents she was camped out in and walked them down the main village path till they reached a odd purple ring on the ground with odd hieroglyphics on the ground inside it.

     "Alright, here's where we'll be training". Shashan said, she then opened a punch on a small bag that was strapped onto her waist. Ones open the bag displayed in mid air a heads up display, HUD for short. "This is your inventory where you store all your stuff". She then click on a small box on the HUD then another small bag appeared in her other hand as she held it out waiting for it to spawn.

     Shashan then handed the bag to Jack, "here, this is your inventory". Which then Jack grabbed the small warn brown bag and extended the shoulder strap and put it on. He then opened the flap to test it out and sure enough he opened it and the HUD popped up for him too.

      "Now, if you have something in your hand and you tap a empty compartment or one containing that item already it'll store it in it. And vice versa if you want to take something out. Go test it out, you can't battle in a poncho". She said with a chuckle.
