The woman tells that she will led Vanessa to the Shepherd's Glen to explain why her children was kidnapped. While traveling via boat, a disturbing sea monster suddenly appear and Vanessa tries to defeat the monster even if she was frightened. After defeating the monster, they arrived at the Shepherd's Glen. The woman led Vanessa to the abandoned house where she encounters Alex Shepherd. He said that the town was found by four families from Silent Hill, who no longer wanted to take part in the doings of the religion cult in Silent Hill named The Order and thier demon worship. They were allowed to leave Silent Hill in one condition: every fifty years each of the four families must sacrifice their children to protect the Shepherd's Glen from the troubles that have been felt in Silent Hill, until now. The protection is no longer because one family failed to do so. Alex reveals that he must be the one that was sacrificed however, his brother, Josh was drowned. Vanessa then ask Alex about the connection of her children to the history of Shepherd's Glen.
Alex tells Vanessa that she is not the mother of the 4 children. The 4 children lived at the Wish House Orphanage when they were 3 years old .They were chosen by the The Order as a replaced for the four families that was failed. The woman was also revealed to be Elle Holloway and she told Vanessa that she kidnapped the 4 children at the Wish House Orphanage to stop The Order's plan about forming an eternally God. Elle use the seal of metatron to allow the 4 children to live peacefully into the real world and was adopted by Vanessa and Frank.
Vanessa then tells that she will save her children from The Order's hands. Alex hands her a shotgun and some bullets to protect hereself from The Order and the monsters in Silent Hill. Vanessa came back to Silent Hill while Alex and Elle decided to stay.
