Vanessa Anderson is living in Daisy Villa Apartments with her 4 children named Mia , Jackson , Alisha and Jason. Vanessa has a husband named Frank that died in a disease six years ago. However, Vanessa is still in grief from her husband's death and to help her mental state, Mia and Alisha begs her to take a relaxing vacation in the other country and Vanessa gives in.
After one month, Vanessa and her 4 children came back to the Daisy Villa Apartments. One day, Vanessa left her children to buy some school supplies, clothes and other things. Upon arriving at her home in the Daisy Villa Apartments, Vanessa finds out that her children are gone and discovers a mysterious letter.
"Secuestramos a sus hijos. Illegado a Silent Hill"
She keeps the letter and follow the footsteps to the room 102 where a woman is waiting for her. The woman tells Vanessa that she didn't kidnapped her daughter and runs away quickly. Vanessa then, chase the woman but the woman runs very fast.
Vanessa sat at the floor and starts crying. And the lights suddenly broken. Vanessa then finds herself inside the Otherworld, a nightmare version of the apartment.
Plenty of monsters start attacking her but she runs quickly back to her room. There, she finds 3 corpses that was brutally murdered. She was frightened and runs quickly to room 106 where she finds a man raping a teenage girl. Vanessa get out to the room and was suddenly sliced by the Pyramid Head.
She wakes up in room 102. An officer appears and help Vanessa to stand up. After a brief converstation, Vanessa tells that her 4 children has been kidnapped and the officer tells that they will find her children.
After 2 days, Vanessa starts to suffer from nightmares about her children. The next day, she went at the hospital and she met James, a doctor of the hospital. One night, James visit Vanessa in the Daisy Villa Apartments to check her condition. Vanessa then tells James about her decision to go to Silent Hill to find her children. James offer to drive her to Silent Hill, which she agrees to. Outside the apartment, James hand Vanessa a map of Silent Hill a gift from a mysterious woman that was met by James in the hospital 5 days ago.
