Chapter 2: Meet Jerry

Jerry's POV

When I walked into the dojo I saw a girl with really beautiful brown, curly hair that reaches her waist with blue eyes that looked like you were looking into a clear sky. She has freckles on both her cheeks and on her nose. She was also wearing glasses but she managed to pull them off. She was wearing black ripped jeans and a red top with black boots.

 "Jerry this is Liliana." when I turn to see her, she was giving Jack a death stare, "but she prefers Lilly."

"Hi I'm Lilly and you are.........",

"Oh. I'm Jerry, nice to meet you".

I was pretty shocked with myself. I would usually say something cocky but there's something in her that told me not to.

"Sooo what time does the practice start tomorrow?" she turned around and looked at the rest of the gang.

"Wait! You're joining our dojo" I asked her trying to contain my excitement from showing 

"Ya Rudy seemed like a pretty good guy so why not"

"Really that's swag yo," I smiled at her, " it starts at 3. We come here after school so that's why."

"Awesome! I can't wait to start." she smiles at me and I swear the world stopped right there. 

I was about to ask her for her number when a big man in a suit came walking in with Rudy calling her name.

 "Lilly, we have to go home so............WHAT IS A MARTINEZ, KRUPNICK, BREWER, CRAWFORD, AND WATSON DOING HERE?!?"

When the man yelled, I soon realized that it was her father. Then another thought came to my head.

 "Wait you're a Ramirez?!?!?!" We all said at the same time

"Wait! You guys are my fathers rivals kids? " she said shocked. 

I also saw a bit of disappointment in her eyes when she looked at me. I was going to say something but her dad beat me................again.

"I'm sorry Rudy but Lilly can't be in your dojo unless you change her practice times" 

"Yes, Mr. Ramirez how about 6 pm?"

"Perfect I'll see you later Rudy" he grabbed Lilly's arm and pulled her out of the dojo. 

When she was close to the door she turned around and looked at us with sadness in her blue eyes and just like that, the most perfect girl walked out of my life...

"Wow. So that's the guy my parents were talking about the other night" said Jack as he went to his locker to take his bag out.

"Ya I know but I wonder why our family's hate each other so much"

 "Only time will tell Jules, only time will tell," Milton says as he puts an arm around her sadly

"Things will change guys. I promise. Your friendship is the most valuable thing and it won't break that easily," Rudy said as he looked at us hopefully, "Okay then, let's get practicing Kim, Jack partners, Milton and Jerry you two will be sparing today."

I wasn't really paying attention. I was sitting on the bench thinking of Lilly knowing I might never see her again.

"Jack, I think something's wrong with Jerry" I heard Kim say

"Naaa look,  YO Jerry look their's Donna with a skirt outside" 

" Oh ya that's really nice Jack," I said not really caring about her 

"OK something is defiantly wrong with Jerry," said Julie 

"Guys can't you see. He likes Lilly" said Milton 

"Wait what n...n..no i...i..I'm not," I said 

"OHHHHH JERRY HAS A CRUSH, JERRY HAS A CRUSH" yelled the gang and I swear that I felt that my face was as red as a tomato.
