"Ms. Grey, Ms. Brooks. Next time set your alarm on time or else I'll see you two in my office."

"We're sorry Mr. Darius." me and Alice chorused.

As we are managing to get through our sits, I could feel someone staring at me. I looked at my right side and saw a new guy with beautiful green eyes and soft pink lips. We were staring at each other for a couple of seconds until I was snapped back into reality by my friend Niall.

"Hermione! Come here I already saved you a sit." Niall called for me.

I'm already going towards Niall but I could still feel his stare behind my back.

"Hi Nialler. I missed you!"

"Will you pls stop calling me Nialler. We're not in junior high anymore Clumsy." Niall said rolling his cute blue eyes.

Niall's nickname for me is Clumsy because he thinks I'm like that cartoon character from the movie called The Smurfs who always embarrasses himself and get everyone in danger because of his clumsiness.

"Fyi, Nialler I am not clumsy anymore." Kicking his foot but instead I accidentally kicked his chair.

"Aw!" I yelped in pain.

"What is it that you want to share to the class Ms. Grey?" Mr. Darius asked me.

"Oh uhm it's nothing sir. I'm sorry." I said shyly.

Urgh why did I decided to wear sandals today instead of wearing rubber shoes!?

"Ok. Anyway class, I am going to group you in pairs for your first assignment. Zoe with Zayn, Diana with Alexia, Andrea with Liam, Cara with Zyanna - - Alice with Harry and lastly, Hermione with Niall."

*bell rings*

"Don't forget your assignments!" Our teacher, Mr. Darius shouted as we are all advancing through the door.

"I thought you aren't clumsy anymore?" Niall teases.

"Shut up Nialler."

"Ohmygod Hermione. Did you see that handsome guy back there!?" Alice whisper shouted.

"Uhm I clearly s -"

"Who me?" Niall asked before I could finish.

"As far as I remember I wasn't talking to you nerdy." Alice sassed.

I mouthed sorry to Niall as Alice joined Zoe-the-stupid-slut-bitch and her group of friends or should I say her slaves on the cafeteria table.

"I really am sorry Niall. Alice was not like then when we were kids until we reached the last year of junior high." I apologized to Niall again.

"Don't worry about it Herms." Niall said with a small smile.

Me and Alice has been inseparable since we were in diapers. We would get our hair done together, watch our favorite cartoons, eat ice creams, play our favorite games together, cook burned pancakes together and such. She was the one who witnessed the year I loathed the most where I still have braces on and a very short hideous hair. She was also there when I got my first heart break with this guy named Kevin back in grade 6. I really thought he liked me but I guess just like his name, he was a dick after all. She was the one who would laugh at my jokes no matter how lame they are. She was the one who would take crazy pictures with me. She was the one who would play tag with me inside the mall. And she was also my pillow every time my parents would fight, she would hold me in her arms and tell me that everything will be alright. Me and Alice don't always agree on the same things but what I know is, we understand each other dearly. But I guess, just like when we were kids where we would always want our parents to carry us and act like a superhero, now we barely even acknowledge their presence. Change is really inevitable even if we thought we actually know the person with our whole lives.
