It was a freaking tiring day. No, your class teacher didn't scold you, your friends didn't bully you. But overloading assignments are just.. too much for you. You wish you could just burn all those thick-worthless books and spread their ashes to the sea. What's more, it's friggin' hot. Did the country turned into Sahara? Gosh.

The bell rang, everyone rushed their own way. Some went to the lockers, some immediately went home, some went to have a chat with their friends, and you.. Well you need to go home and finish your piling assignments. Piling? No, it's not a suitable word to describe it. Mount Everest-type assignment? Yeah, that would do.

You walked out from your class straight to the exit of the university. It seems he's not coming today. What happened to that guy? He's the worst. How can he absent at time like this? Has he gone mad? That guy..

As you reached the parking area, one of your classmates walked towards you. "Y/N, have you seen Wei? It seems he's absent today, isn't he?" You checked your phone for a moment, "Yeah, I haven't seen him today." You answered with a not-amused face. "Well, the other nine also didn't come today.. Well, that's it. I gotta go!" she said while running away from you. You stood still for a few moments, just realizing that the class was so silent because Wei AND his other nine friends were absent. Finally, you continued your short journey back to your apartment.

You couldn't stop checking your phone. But every time you checked it, it always stayed the same, no new notifications, no new messages, no nothing. Is he sick? He couldn't be. That idiot. What is he up to? Is this another prank he set up for me? You checked your phone again. This time, a message popped up on the screen, with the sender name: "Wei idiot." You smiled, feeling happy that he finally messaged you.

"DO. NOT. GO. HOME."

Before you were able to send your "Why?" message, another message popped up,

"I BEG YOU"

You rushed to your apartment, rather than obeying what he told you. You grabbed your keys from your pocket and unlocked the door.

"What? Why won't it op.. Wei!! I know you're in there! Open the door!" You shouted as you knock the door furiously. After a few seconds being like a mad landlord trying to collect debts, the door opened. "Hey, Y/N! Come on in!" said Jinhoo, as if he was the one who lived in the room.

"She came already?"

"This is going to be hilarious!"

"I can't wait to see her reaction!"

"Hahahahaha!"

You tried to keep yourself calm while processing what's happening right now. Why is it so noisy inside—

You gotta be kidding me. These nine.. Can't they find another place?!

"Oh, so Wei isn't here? Why did he tell me not to go home?" You asked while showing the boys Wei's message.

"Well, we're sorry. But we can't just miss this kind of event, you know?" Jinhoo continued, after seeing your surprised face when you saw your apartment room being filled with nine boys.

"Um.." You scratched your head. "What event? Did I miss something?" You frowned, trying to remember whether you had a promise with them or anything.. Everyone went silent. You were confused, and finally gave up, "Okay, I give up. What's going on?" You folded your arms. "Wait. So all of you were absent because you are all here, playing around in my apartment?!"

"I can't believe you, noona." Xiao muttered in the corner, as everyone silently stared at you with a surprised face. You panicked, "Wh.. did I say something wrong?!"

Wooshin stood up then went to the kitchen. The stares didn't change, though. After a few seconds, he came back,

"Happy birthday, noona!"

You froze on the doorstep as they sang happy birthday for you. Without you realizing, tears ran down your cheeks. "You're the worst, Y/N. How can you forgot your own birthday?" said Jinhoo as he handed some tissues for you to wipe the tears.

"Thank you.." You muttered, with a cracking voice.

"Blow the candles! Make a wish!" Said Xiao in his maximum excited mode.

You blew the candles, after you closed your eyes to make a wish, few of the boys rushed to your bedroom. You wouldn't complain about it, because all of you are all close. So you weren't bothered by it even a bit. Not until..

"C'mon, she's already here!"

"I get it, let go off me! I'll walk by myself!"

The boys went out from your bedroom, and one other...

"Hey."

Everyone looked at you, waiting for your reaction to what you were seeing. You laughed out loud. Everyone joined the laugh, too.

"So, isn't he beautiful, noona?" Asked Wooshin while still laughing.

"You guys are unbelievable. Whose idea is this?!"

"It was Wei's!" Said one of the boys.

Wei rolled his eyes while he folded his arms. You walked to him, then laughed again. "Wei.. you're so beautiful. Really. Perfect!" He frowned, "It wasn't my idea, okay? This is why I told you not to come!" He looked away.

"Gosh, 10 out of 10 would come to see you wearing my favorite pink dress."

"Ugh.. shut it.."

"Alright, the next section, Mr. Wei, the time is yours." Said Kuhn, while holding a spoon to make him look like a master ceremony.

Wei sighed, then fixed his gaze at you, then kneeled before you. You began to panic as you were trying to, once again, understand what's going on. The boys were again silent and stared at you two.

"Okay.. What's.."

"Y/N,"

"Y-yeah?"

"Would you be my girlfriend?"

You felt as if you were just hit by a truck. "Wh..what?" Wei stood up, and held your hand. "We've been together since we were little. It's nice to be your close friend, but I think differently. I want you to be my girlfriend." He explained, while standing really close to you. The audience cheered, then went back to silent again to hear your answer. Instead of words, you kissed his cheek without hesitating. You were happy to be Wei's closest friend, but the fact that he just confessed to you is just..

Wei looked at you, shocked. But then he leaned his face closer to you, and kissed you. You kissed him back. The boys, of course, cheered even louder, some of them even screamed and clapped like crazy.

"Today, Y/N was confessed by a man who was wearing her dress." Kuhn said, still acting like a master ceremony.
