The Mermaid and The Singer

Prologue

Hello! My name is Aqua, Aquamarine. I'm not what you could call a normal teenage girl. I'm a fish. Yes, you heard me right I'm a fish, mermaid as we call our selves. I can talk to fish move water, freeze water, and heat it. Some people think we are just some mythical creature. They are way wrong. We hear everything people say. The fish and water spreak to us. We can hear you through sea shells humans have. They can hear us and we can hear them. Thats one reason we dont talk to each other with our mouths but with our mind. Cool, isn't it?

I could tell there was a storm coming in Australia, where I live. My dad controls the weather. So when he's mad he creates a storm. I dont want to deal with him right now. He's mad at me because I will NOT marry the prince. In our world our parents choose who we like or dislike. I hate it! I start to swim up to the horizon. I see a smal fishing boat with five boys in it. What are they doing out here in this weather? "Stupid boys..." I mumble making the water bubble. The boat starts to sway and rock. It gets more violent. The boys start to scream and run around the boat. I just roll my eyes. I look back over to the boat and one of the boys fell over the railing. My eyes go wide and I rush over to save him. 

I swim to his side and pick him up. I neverbeen this close to a human before. They are so cute! I set him on the sand. I stare at his chest moving up and down. He starts to cough and the boys run toward him and call his name. He opens his eyes and looks at me. I quickly swim away. "Liam! Are you okay man?" One of the boys ask. Liam. His name is beautiul. I see him talk to the boys then point to my direction. I swim off. They didn't see me.

I start to swim back. I have to tell my dad that I love someone else. I'm in love with Liam. I swim faster but a current grabs my tall. I pulls me back and I swim faster. It wips me back and the last thing I saw was a fish before it went black.
