The nice receptionist took me up the hallway . "Director Fury said you could come in . I have to warn you though mister Stark in in their with him to , he can be a handful ". She smiled politely before returning leaving me all by myself . I opened the door and one perfectly calm face and one surprised one looked at me . Fury smiled or more like smirked before saying :"welcome Mia". I nodded politely before turning my attention on mister Stark . His eyes were cold but the longer he looked in my eyes the more it seemed like it started to melt . I felt uncomfortable so I looked away ."Please take a seat". Fury said to me . He motioned me to sit on one of the black leather chairs . I took one far way from Fury and Stark ."I see you have taking my advice and came here". His voice was hoarse. I nodded slightly . I still wasn't sure if this was the right choice but there was no going back now . "Wow hold on who is this "? Stark asked . He didn't sound mean but it wasn't exactly nice . Fury looked at Stark and smiled a little bit . I hadn't know Fury for so long , but I did know that he didn't smile very often , so it was somewhat creepy that he was smiling now . "Tony , meet Mia . Mia , meet Tony ".I looked at Stark or well Tony and smiled polity . I stretched out my hand and he grabbed it . His hands were a bit sweaty but I didn't mind . He smiled back . "Nice to meet you". He said . "You too". I said softly . I didn't speak much until I have judged the situation and how people are . And right now I didn't know Tony very well so I stayed quit . It was very rare I trusted someone . "If you don't mind me asking , why are you here "? If was being honest , I didn't know it either , I just know that Fury offered me a job . I opened my mouth to speak but before I could speak Fury spoke .'she is going to be a part of the avengers". Wait what ? Let's take that back , did he just say I was going to be an avengers ? He must have seen my panicked face because he motioned me to calm down . "Relax , they don't bite ". Tony laughed a bit . "Cool , do you have a super power or are you just super kick –ass like Natasha and Clint "? I didn't know how to answer that , I did have a super power , only I didn't want to use it . I hated my super power . Fury saved me though by saying : "That's for us to know and for you to find out " .Tony just nodded understanding . "Are you okay "? He asked me after a while . "I'm fine". I said , that was a coldhearted lie , but he didn't need to know that . I was having a lot of problems , but Its not like he would really care . Nobody ever cared anyway . Nobody except my foster family , who .... I couldn't even think about it , it only happened a couple years ago and I wasn't ready to talk about it . Tony looked like he didn't believe me but he didn't push it . Thank god . Just then the door swung open . The nice secretary came in . "Director , the plane has arrived ". "We will be right up". He then followed the secretary and waited by the door ."You ready "? Stark asked me . I nodded . "Yes I am ". I stood up and followed Stark who was right in front of me . 'Hey , wait a second , Fury you son of a bitch you know I was coming "? I screeched at the top of my longs .
