“Marshall Lee!” Fiona screamed as my skin smoked in the sunlight. Cake stretched herself over me and Fiona ran to my side. “Why are you outside in the day time?!” I winched at the pain.

“I lost the umbrella. It got windy.” I said as my skin cooled down. You see, I am a vampire. In fact, I am Marshall Lee the Vampire King! I am from the Nightospear! Creatures of Ooo cower before me as I drink their blood! Just kidding, I only drink shades of red.

“Cake! Be an umbrella!”  Cake did as Fiona said and I grabbed Cake’s handle. “Marshall, you can come to our house until its night. It’s just up the hill!” Fiona said as she flipped her golden hair out of her eyes. I nodded and she escorted me to the house.

I sat in a dark corner the whole time until nightfall. “Well, it’s night, ladies. Time to make my leave.” I said flying around Cake. She was scared of me; she should be after all the pranks I pull on her and Fiona.

“Take care Marshall!” Fiona said. And with that I left. I didn’t know where I was going; I just didn’t want to go home. I roamed for a while. I was in a whole different spot of Ooo… if this was even Ooo I was in.

There was a castle up ahead. I want to go check it out. I wonder who lives there. The land began to morph and change, so did the castle. It changed from just this small thing in the distance to this huge place about a few miles up.

“What the.” I said as I took a step back and the castle became farther away. I stepped forward and backwards for five minutes before I realized. I am passing the border of Ooo and Celica.

“I don’t want to marry Prince Roderick!” I yelled to Joanna, my teacher. I am princess of Celica, my name is Rosalie and because of our low economy, I am forced to marry a prince of another land.

I don’t want to do it. I don’t really love him. Having to be forced to marry the next day after meeting them is not fun. I want a long relationship where he will propose and I will have time to make my own arrangements. This wedding has been planned and put together for two months earlier and I haven’t even met him yet!

“Rosalie, you will do what you are told. Even if we have to tie you down. Although, that isn’t very good if we tie up a princess. I know!” She turned to the seamstress and said, “Make her dress very long. We will put cuffs on her feet!”

I moaned. “Joanna, I don’t want to marry, and you won’t make me!” and with that, I got down from the chair and ran out of the room and out of the castle. I could hear my name being called, but I picked up speed with every time I heard it.

I don’t want to marry, I don’t. Joanna caught up to me. “Rosalie! You can’t run away like that! From now on you are going to be locked in your room until the wedding. And look at your dress! It’s filthy! We have to have the seamstress do another one in one night!” she was mad.

“Joanna, I’m 15! I don’t want to marry! I want to marry like the people in my books.” I said with a sigh. “Rosalie, vampires are not real. Therefore, you can’t marry them. You don’t live in a fairy tale. Now come back to the castle.” She grabbed my arm.

I tried to pull away. “NO!” I said. I finally got free and I started to run only about 50 steps away when the earth began to change. There was a tree far off in the distance. I collapsed in a black out.
