DIPPERS POV

Bill and I woke up around the same time the next morning. Remembering the events of the day before, we laid in bed and didn't move.

"Bill, we can't lay here forever."

"Are you sure, we can try.'

"Come on, I'm hungry."

"Fine." Bill threw off the blankets and stood up. He yawned loudly and when he saw I was taking my own sweet time getting up, he threw a pillow at me.

After a few minutes of laughing and pillow throwing, we finally dragged ourselves out of the room and down the stairs. Stan and Mabel were sitting at the table. Considering the wedding never took place, Stan never went back to the hospital. He really is a con man, and a good one at that. Mabel had her head laid down next to her plate. She didn't look up when we entered the room, she didn't say anything, she wasn't the same.

"Morning Mabel."

She didn't respond. She just sat there looking gloomy. In all honesty she had a right to be. She had finally found love and it was ripped away from her. She had no choice but to watch it happen. She saw the girl she loved murdered before her eyes, her hair go from a golden blonde to a crimson red in a matter of seconds. I can't even imagine the pain, if I were to lose Bill, I don't know what I would do.

"I'm sorry Mabel."

She looked up briefly, walked calmly over to me, placed her hand on my shoulder, smiled a little, and walked up the stairs into out old attic bedroom.

BILLS POV

Crap. I can read thoughts and I really don't like the one that just went through Mabel's.

"Hey, umm, babe, I'll be right back."

"Okay, be quick, I am expecting my breakfast." he said in a playful tone.

"Yes my Lord." I said kneeling down and placing my right hand on my chest. He rolled his eyes.

I ran up to where Mabel was. I heard some soft cries coming from behind the door.

"Mabel, it's Bill, do you mind if I come in?"

"I really don't care."

I turned the doorknob and walked into the room. What I saw disturbed me greatly.
