Theres Something You Should Know

chapter 3

     After about an hour of waiting it was finally my turn to go in and meet the boys. The security guard opened the door into a large room. I took a shaky breath and entered the room. All I could do was stand there and stare. 5 Seconds of Summer, about ten meters away from me. I was in complete shock. After about two minutes of standing there unnoticed I continued to walk forward. There was about five other girls walking to each member of the band saying hello and giving a hug.

I didn't know what to do. I examined how the girls were acting, they didn't look nervous at all.

"Hello, love." a voice with a deep Australian accent said, interrupting me from my thoughts.

It was Calum. Calum Hood was talking to me.

I was at a complete loss for words.

"I...uh....h..hi." I stuttered. Calum laughed at my nervousness.

"No need to be nervous, love. Just act like I'm a normal guy from your school." He smiled at me.

"Well if that was the case I'd still be nervous. No normal guys ever talk to me." I said rolling my eyes.

Calum laughed at my statement and walked me over to meet the other guys, currently saying goodbye to a couple of girls and taking last minute pictures.

I wanted to act mature so I made myself gain enough courage to say hello and give a hug to the boys without acting nervous and embarrassing myself.

"Hi, nice to meet you" I said to Ashton as I pulled him into a hug.

"You to love" he said pulling out of the hug. I walked over to Luke and did the same. Calum was now by the door meeting more fans that have just walked in. I introduced myself and hugged Michael.

"Picture!" a women said standing behind a tripod. I gave her my phone so she could take a picture of me and the boys. The boys walked over to the designated space where the pictures were being taken.

"So how would you like us to look or pose in your picture?" Luke asked me.

"Um...well I haven't exactly thought about it...I don't know." I replied.

"Oh ok well why don't you just stand in the middle and we'll make funny faces, that's usually what we do if we don't have a specific pose haha." Luke said. The boys started to move into the position and I followed, until Calum said "Wait."

"Oh come on lads there's other fans waiting!" The women holding my iPod said. The boys stayed oblivious to what the woman had said and Calum continued to talk.

"How about I hold her bridal style, so she has a unique picture." I just stood there not knowing what to do. Calum Hood wanted to hold me? The other boys just gave him an odd look and said whatever.

"Ok.." I said. Calum came and picked me up and walked me in-between the other lads. I could feel my face start to heat up. Calum was holding me and I was next to Luke, Ashton, and Michael. It's like something that could only happen in a dream.

"Smile on three!" the camera woman said. "1..2..3". The picture was taken an the woman handed me my iPod back. "Thanks." I said to her with a slight smile. The boys said goodbye and were already off meeting and hugging more fans. As I walked towards the exit I noticed Calum over talking to a security guard. When it seemed he was done talking he leaned in to the man and nodded at me. What did I do that would make him talk to a security guard about me? I quickly started walking towards the door. As soon as I was at the doorway I ran into a large object. I took a step back and looked at the man confused and wide eyed.

"Come with me." The large man said as he grabbed my arm and led me out the door. He pulled me to the side as more girls exited the room smiling and looking through the pictures that had just been taken. None of them seemed to notice my awkward situation.
