So this was the one and only Felix Coult. The astounding, the magnificent, the-

You get it.

I looked him over in quick sweeps, not to seem like I was checking him out.

Which I wasn't. I snuck onto his yacht for Christ's sake! And it definitely wasn't to swoon over Mr.Coult and fall for his act that he always put on.

I was lucky that I thought of a reason to be here in the first place. With my hair a mess and my clothes wrinkled and untucked I probably looked like a crazy ex girlfriend. Even if it was a bit far fetched, he seemed to buy it. Hopefully.

Not to toot my own horn, but it was also quick-witted of me to deny my knowledge of Felix. I did get caught snooping around, though. So a tie, I guess? I don't know.

"What's your name?" He was now sitting in a plush leather armchair (the type a normal person would dream of having), his chin on his fist. His dark eyebrows were scrunched together in thought.

"Annie." His hazel eyes flickered up to me, and softened, almost.

"Annie..." He rolled my name over his tongue. He sighed. "Let me introduce myself to you, then." He stood up, a hand outstretched as a greeting. "My name is.." He paused. "James."

I concealed the surprise on my face. "No last name, James?" I asked as my hand shook his (surprisingly) soft hands. He chuckled at my remark, brushing his bangs to the side. "Let's just leave it at James."

It was crazy; if I hadn't had known what - and who - he really was I wouldn't have given his awkward introduction a second thought. He was James, and that was that. It was almost as if he took of the stone hard mask of the billionaire he was and layer on a second one, more gentle than the last, named James.

Suddenly, in one quick tug, he pulled my hand and I tumbled into the chair he was in. "Hmm." He thought to himself. I was inches away from his face, and I could feel my own burning up. I quickly leaped up and brushed myself off. He laughed again. "You don't seem very focused for revenge." He smirked. "If you won't tell me why you're really here, fine. I'll just call the police."

My heart raced.

"N-no!" I scrambled. "Please! Please don't!" His eyes tinted.

"Fine." He tapped my head. "But you have to do me a favor." I gulped and nodded my head. All I wanted was a story, and now I had myself tangled up in the most Cliché moment in my life.

"Anything."

He paused and looked at me with a mischievous look in his eyes.

"Marry me."
