The darkness has ink eyes
One day they'll blink black
An endless sea of hate
Pain,suffering,loneliness
Locked away for so long
Held at bay
Suppressed and tamedUntil it finally gives way
No longer dormant
Much less quiet
A thunderstorm of destruction
Fire and screams echo outBut that won't happen to you
You're a good person
So you think anyway
You can keep it at bay
The darkness you supposedly hateGive it a try you might like it
All you've got to do is blink
Everything goes black
A new sense of freedom arises
It was all so easy
All you did was paint it black
Or was it red...?
