Chapter 4/Did that just happen?!

We finally spread apart. Gee that hug was long and it was the best hug I've ever had and I've only just met him. Does he think I'm weird? I hugged him to long? NO! Kate NO! I always over think things.

We look at each other one more time. Or I should say stare. I could kiss him. NO! What am I thinking?!

I still haven't had my first kiss yet. I always wanted to wait and make it the most special it could be. Shawn has only just met me there is no way this could happen. He doesn't even like me. I mean I think he likes me as a friend since he asked me for his number but... Ok I should just stop talking.

We both smile and Shawn says, "Well, see you soon, Candy."

"Did you just call me Candy?!" I ask.

"Yes, I just called you Candy." Shawn smirks the most adorable smirk.
                   I can't help but laugh. I can't take all this cuteness ugh.

"See you soon, Mendes." I say imitating his smirk.

                  We both laugh and turn opposite ways.

                 I can't stop smiling. What just happened?!? Did I just hang out with THE Shawn Mendes?!? WHAT?! HOLY GRAIL. My phone makes a sound notifying me that I've got a message that wakes me up from my hays of thoughts.

"Hey, wondering when we can do something like this again sometime.-Shawn."

                A huge smile comes across my face.

I text back, "Anytime after school hours is fine.-Kate."

He texts back,"Okay, that sounds great. How about tomorrow at about the same time?"

I text back, "That sounds great! Where? "

He texts, "It's a surprise..."

I text back, "Hmm, let me think about it. JK. lol(insert laughing emojis) Of coarse Shawn!"

He texts back, "Ok! Sounds great meet up at 4 around the same place I saw you today. See you tomorrow!"

I text back, "See you then!"

                   This is a dream. I'm going to hang out with Shawn Mendes tomorrow.

Shawn's POV
                   Today was just...great. I just met this girl...She was beautiful. She had beautiful dark brown hair, brown eyes, and I know this is weird but her lips are so...so... I don't even know...nice? They aren't Kylie Jenner lips and they're not no lips. They're just perfect. Ok this is getting off topic. And her personality is so perfect. Goofy, nice, down to earth. She's perfect. And she's a fan. Another positive. haha.

I need to play guitar right now. I won't be able to sleep without playing. I can't stop thinking about her, man. Did I mention she's adorable?! I pick up my guitar and start playing some random chords till I get a beat and the lyrics just flows to me. I think I'm writing another song.
