Chapter 2: Study Day into Study Date

*Bailey POV*

I woke up and stretched. Im still in shock that he actually asked me out. Yesterday was like a fairytale. I pulled the bright blue comforter off of me and got out of bed. Why is school so early in the morning?! I walked over to my closet and put on floral skater skirt, white corset thing, and put my hair into a loose side braid. I walked down the spiral stair case and into the kitchen. after Id eaten breakfast and finished getting ready i grabbed my black faux leather jacket and made my way to school.

When I got to school i knew the first thing i wanted to do was go see Luke and thank him for the amazing night. I looked at the clock, there wasnt enough time for me to go to my locker, get my stuff, and go to his. We have first period together so i would just do it then. But of course by the time i got to class it was to late. i wrote out a note

'Thats good right' I thought. I folded it and handed it to the person next to me "To Luke" I whispered. The kid laughed like i wasnt serious but passed it on anyway. I watched as the note traveled around the classroom and made its way back to Luke. He carefully opened it, ripped a piece of paper and wrote something down. The paper made its way to me. This time I carefully opened it.

Hey, np! I had a great time to. hmu 718-356-2482 :)Luke

I looked over at him and smiled, and he smiled back. This is too good to be true!

*Luke POV*

I walked out of the check out line, Adrian next to me. "So the date was...?" he asked. "Horrible," i said, I mean it was ok, but I wouldve much rather been alone at home. "Well if your'e gonna be believable, go sit with her, and dont worry i'll be there too." Ya dont worry just more pressure thats all and Adrian knew it. We both walked over to her and sat down. Everyone gave WHY-IS-HE-SITTING-WITH-HER looks, but i'm popular so no one really cared. If I sat there everyone wanted to. Which just made my situation worse, i'm not an actor, especially not one with an audience. "Hey," i said smiling all flirty like. "Hi," she said back. I could tell by Adrian's face he was holding back chuckling. He was best friend, pretty much brother, but everyone can be annoying at some point, and the fact that we're so close means we can annoy each other but practically have to forgive each other. "So you had a good time last night," I said sort of giddy happy. "Yes I did," she replied. "Which one do you like better Luke. Lailey or Baike?" Adrian said, "Now I personally like Lailey better." I rolled my eyes and so did Baily. We both laughed, well hers was more of a giggle, and it was actually kinda cute. Adrin kept staring at us like we were his favorite movie. "Dont you have somewhere else you can be," i said to him. "Fine," he whined and moved. "I know hes your freind and all, but that was creepy," she said. I chuckled,"Ya he can be a pain and stuff, but were like brothers so we get over it easily." I looked at him just in time to see his head shift away from us. "But now its just the two of us," I smiled.

I was home after school, in my room doing homework. My iPhone 5 vibrated. picked it up off my home where i was blasting music. It was a text from Bailey.

Hey, wazzzup!

I didn't think/hoped she wouldn't text me, which was stupid. Why would i give a girl who likes me my number and not expect her to use it.

Hey nm u?

She replied almost instantly. I guess she REALLY likes me. I mean shes not a bad friend sort of person, idk.

Same, just hw

Me: Do you want to meet at the library and have a, I don't know, study date?

Love to :D

I don't get me. I don't want to be with her so i ask her on a date. That doesn't even make sense. I put all my school stuff in my drawstring Under Armor bag along with my phone and keys. Then I walked to the garage and hopped into my lincoln mkz and started it up. When I got to the library my phone vibrated again.

Be there in a minute.

Sure enough she was. We giggled and chatted (and the librarian really likes to tell us to be quiet) and still managed to get our homework done. What was weird was I didn't want to make plans with her, but when I did, I had actually a good time. I mean i didnt like her, right?
