Chapter 7: Mall Day

*Bailey POV*

I woke up in my bed wondering how I got there, then remembering how I was 'tucked in' last night. I pulled my phone off my charger. The clock read 10:33 am. Below that was a message from Luke. I put in my passcode and read the message to myself.

L: Hey Bails want to go to the mall today?

Me: Sure what time

L: I can pick you up at 12:00 and we could have lunch first.

Me: Sounds good!

L: See you then!

My parents had to work so I didn't bother telling them. I went downstairs to make a cup of coffee and ten got ready. I wore my black skater skirt, white lace corset/bustier and camouflage hair bison my low half pony. I chose my brown faux leather bag from my closet and filled placed inside my wallet, phone, and gum, because you can't live without gum.

I sat around at the counter on my phone until the doorbell rang. I got my stuff and headed to the door. Then I twisted the knob and pulled it open. "You ready to go," he asked. "Yep," I replied. He held out his hand and I grabbed it. We walked to his car and I jumped in. "Where do you want to go for lunch? Firehouse Su..." he started. "Yes, I love Firehouse!" I said. "Good to know," he said, smiling like an angel. I tried to hold back a smile, but not very good at it. I would bite my lip, then let out a giggle. "What's so funny?" he asked. "Nothing. Whenever I try to hold back smiling I laugh," I said. "Also good to know," he added. I laughed again.

After our delicious subs we went to our local outdoor mall. "I told my mom I'd get her watch fixed and picked I'd pick it up when we left. Can we just run to that jeweler real quick?" he asked. "Sure I have to go to the bathroom so I'll meet you there when I'm done." I said. "Sure," he said as we parted ways.

*Luke POV*

I met Bailey outside of the jeweler when we were done. "Any places in mind," he said. "Of course! Forever 21, Brandy Meville, LF," she said, "What about you?" "I don't know, Under Armor and Nike I guess," I said. "Sounds good," she said. I looked up and saw the giant Forever 21 sign. "Want to stop here first?" I asked. "Ya, sure," she replied, pushing her sunglasses up as a headband. I held the door open for her.

"Hey I have to pick up that watch," I said. "Ok let's go," she said. We walked over to the little building. I walked over to the counter. Apparently the person recognized me. "Here it is," he said handing me a box. "Thank you," I said. I took Bailey over to a tree near my car and stopped. She gave me a confused look. I reluctantly let go of her hand and pulled out a necklace that said Lailey. I held it up and said "Luke and Bailey forever." She blushed as I walked behind her to put it on. "I love it, it's beautiful," she said excitedly. "You are too." I slipped my hand under her haired we pulled close together. Our lips met and I pictured sparks flying.

We sat under at the tree stump for what felt like hours and had fun taking awkward selfies and before we left carving Lailey in it with car keys. :P
