“Here we are!” Alfer said, grabbing Zepthanne’s arm and running inside Death Academy. He looked so excited. She attempted to stop him from dragging her but boys are physically stronger than girls. The school was big. With three giant white lit candles on the outside. It was also designed like a castle.

They reached the classroom after minutes of  running down the hallway. She was born strong, so she didn’t became tired of running about two kilometers.

“The classroom, Anne!! It’s just as big as my bedroom….” Alfer said. She looked around to see how big the classroom was. She was shocked because it was only as big as their house. Her mom and she are the only ones living there, so why bother having a very huge house?

“Wow, impressive.” Was all she replied.

The students were still not seated on the chairs. She decided to walk and sit down on one but Alfer grabbed her back in the crowd of girls surrounding him.

“Can’t you just let me sit?!” She whispered at Alfer’s ear.

He frowned. “Help me here, please??” He pleaded.

She gave out an exasperated sigh. “Fine. What is it?” She asked.

He stuttered while talking and seemed to be embarrassed. His face turning red. The first time she had seen a royalty turn like this before. “I – uh, I d-don’t want other girls s-sticking around m-me s-so… can y-you p-p-please act as m-my g-girlfriend…?”

Zepthanne was taken aback by this. It’s an honor to be a prince’s girlfriend. She just sighed.

“Fine.” She replied.

She saw Alfer’s face turn from embarrassed to happy. She don’t know why. Who would want a red-eyed girl.

Red-eyed. She thought. She forgot that she was wearing red contact lenses!

Alfer held him closer to him as he faced the crowd of girls around him. “Sorry girls. But I already have a girlfriend. She’s Zepthanne Crow.” He said. Then he hugged her closer to him, which made her annoyed. But the prince was asking her to do a favor. She must not fail him.

The girls frowned and walked away sadly. She quickly escaped Alfer’s hug and went to sit down on a chair. Which is quickly gathered around by the boys. Not only he has a problem…

“Hey beautiful,” One guy started.

She glared at him. “Go away. Shoo.” She ignored all the others. She put her headphones on and blared very loud hardcore rock music. She turned to her side and listened to her music.

A few seconds passed and she felt someone fall to her legs. She quickly put her headphones off and stood up. The guy who called her beautiful and all the others who surrounded her lay on the floor; out cold. She was surprised to see Alfer with his fists clenched and glaring at the guys with his silver eyes filled with anger.

“Don’t you ever dare touch or say hello to my girlfriend.” He said sternly.

Zepthanne was wordless about this. She never thought that he was serious about what he said earlier. She thought that he was only asking for a favor. Now, she has suspicions. Or maybe she was just being so assuming. A prince would never like a commoner like her. But this…

“Thanks, Alfer.” She said. Then, she went to another seat and sat down there.
