Hey , surprised to see me here. Well I know this is kind of Shadow and Curse's kind of thing ,but there is something on my mind that I want to share .
It's an ugly word to say ,but it needs to be discussed.
What is killing me inside is how everyone now a days has the perception that self harm (terrible word )is only cutting. yes it is a form of self harm ,but it isn't the only thing. Did you know that a negative though about your self is considered self harm. So everyone has to have self harmed right. But besides that I've yes ,almost lost people to cutting,because they cut to deep on purpose . I've stopped one of my friends from burning them self ,and I have had to hide pills from one. And yet people say cutting is the only self harm. My best friend of all times. Is silently suffering,because his parents won't help him. The only reason they won't is because there isn't cuts lining his pretty little pale arms. I've tried to get him help by talking with someone ,but his parents end it saying he is fine. Well he isn't he constantly skips meals, he thinks only on the negative side of himself,he binges when forced to eat ,and will lay on his bed for hours nonstop depriving himself of the nutrients he needs,but yet people say his case isn't self harm (pardon my French ) bullshit . I've seen him go through much worse then a cutter has. Yes cuttings bad,but they do it as an out lit to the pain ,and they only do it when they need it. But he does this every second of every day . His parents give him lunch money ,and he still doesn't eat he gives the money to someone else or he saves it and lies about how there wasn't enough time to eat . He is tearing himself apart from the inside out and I can't do anything about it because nobody will man up and say that he is technically self harming,that he has a problem. He is so innocent and I can't lose him ,not now not ever. He try's to be the one to help everyone else ,but he is slowly crumpling. Some of you guys know him,some of you guys he's helped, some of you have help him in ways you can not believe. Why do you think we've been online less and less,not just because of school ,but because we are trying to help save a friend . A friend that we are still trying to save. I won't name names ,but you should have figured it out by now... He's posted about it before . You should know .....and know that he will get help, if its from us or a professional ,he's getting help no matter what ..
