"Akemi!" Biglang bumukas ang pinto sa kwarto ko at pumasok sina Akane at Riye. "Wow. You look . . . amazing," Akane said while scanning me from head to toe. I can feel the blood rushing to my cheeks.
"S-stop it." Natawa naman siya sa reaksyon ko kaya sinamaan ko siya ng tingin.
"Anyway, are you ready?" tanong niya at huminga naman ako nang malalim.
"Yes."
They escorted me until we reached Midori building. I felt so embarrassed because countless students were looking at us . . . at me. Nakahinga ako nang maluwag nang nakarating na kami sa hallway dahil wala nang masyadong tao rito. The main event will be held in Kaishi Hall but we went to the next room for the announcement. Pagpasok namin ay napahinto ang mga pamilyar na mukhang nag-uusap sa loob.
"Di na talaga kayo nagbagong tatlo. Late na naman kayo," sabi ni Ken at syempre, nagsimula na naman silang magsagutan ni Akane.
"Ohh hi, Akemi!" bati ni Nel at nginitian ko naman siya. She's wearind a red and black dress with her sword hanging on the back.
"You look great," sabi naman ni Krystal na blue at white dress naman ang suot.
"Hi, Rainie." Napatingin ako kay Darwin at lumapit siya sa akin habang nakangiti. Instead of his usual black cape, he's dressed in a suit. "Or should I now address you as President?"
Hearing that word sent shivers down my spine. I still can't believe that few minutes from now, I will be heading the Senshin tribe.
"Please don't, Lord Seiji," sabi ko naman sa kanya at muli siyang napangiti.
"You're right. Rainie sounds better."
Umupo naman kaming lahat nung narinig namin ang ugong ng kampana. Pumunta ako sa grupo ko at umupo ako sa pagitan nina Hiro at Akane. I'm still uncomfortable with this dress but somehow, I still like to wear it--a japanese yukata-like dress to honor Shou.
'Scared?' Hiro said with his inner voice.
'A bit.'
'Don't worry. You'll be a fine leader. Just like your parents.' Pagkatapos niyang sabihin 'yun ay saktong pinatayo kami para sa pagpasok sa Kaishi hall.
"Announcing the entrance of the leaders of the four tribes . . ."
Well, there's no turning back. From now on, Senshins will be on my care.
