All our lives poeple including ourselves call us names. Good ones, bad ones, new ones, old ones, were asigned a "birth name" the second we enter cruel reality. Some are labeled pretty and some ugly, fat and skinny, smart and stupid. And the people who survive all the name calling and labeling live on to do the same.
