Finding Love Again

Chapter 9

Shawn POV

"But daddy it's cute" Nahla says with a pout.

Right now I'm in this store at the mall with Nahla and Bey convincing me to buy this short ass dress for Nahla.

"C'mon Shawn she looks so cute in it" Bey cosigns also pouting.

With both of them pouting it's kind of hard for me to say no so I finally give in and let her get the dress. After leaving the store I am ready to go, we have been in this mall for five hours, between Bey trying on a bunch of clothes and Nahla also, I am very tired. As we are walking to the food court to grab something to eat. Once we arrive Bey and Nahla goes to find somewhere to sit while I head to Chick-fil-A to order our food. I get myself a spicy deluxe sandwich meal with a Sprite, Bey a 12-piece nugget meal with a frozen lemonade, and Nahla a kid's meal with chocolate milk. I grab our food and head to the table, once I get to the table I hand everybody their food.

"Nahla make sure you don't waste anything on your shirt okay, and you can get your toy when you're done" I tell her.

"Otay daddy" She says while stuffing her face, I chuckle at how adorable she is.

Wondering why Bey is so quiet I look over to see her straight smashing her food.

"Damn Bey were you hungry?" I ask sarcastically.

"Shut up, I haven't eaten all day" She says while giggling.

"That's shocking" I say, Bey stops eating and looks at me with the deadliest glare.

"Don't play with me" She responds, I just chuckle at her.

Bey POV

"BB when are we going to get our nails done?" Nahla asks me while I'm eating.

"Nails done?" Shawn asks.

"Yeah the other day when I was leaving your house I promised Nahla we would go get our nails done because I couldn't stay and play with her. Is that fine with you?" I ask Shawn.

"As long as you don't put all that extra crap up there it's fine"

I nod my head at his response.

"Daddy can we go to the park afta this?" Nahla asks Shawn. He looks at me to see if it is okay and I let him know its fine.

"Sure honey, as soon as you finish eating" He tells Nahla.

When we were all done eating Shawn threw the trash away while me and then we all headed to the car. While on the way to the park Jimmy Choo came on the radio and me and Nahla went crazy because this is our song.

"Jimmy Choos on her feet when she be walking Jimmy Choos one her feet when she be walking yeah babyyyy" We sang together.

I look over to see Shawn looking in the mirror in astonishment at Nahla, Shawn turns the radio down and looks over to me.

"Your becoming a bad influence on my child" He says with a playful shake of his head.

I laugh while responding "I am no such thing, Nahla loves me, isn't that right sweetie?" I ask Nahla.
