6. Eye For An Eye

The branches and leaves brushed against me roughly cutting my face and arms but still I ran. I lost sight of Stone and stopped breathing hard as sweat dripped down the nape of my neck. "STONE!!," I shouted as I cuffed my hands around my mouth. I bent over coughing and breathing hard. Stone then appeared walking forward in a flowing white dress. She had a deadpan expression. "Could you.. Could you really be..," she said stepping towards me. I felt a strange sense of danger so I took a step back from her. A small smile appeared on the corners of her lips, "You surprise me human. Or should I say Completion?" I heard growls within the forest around me and I knew I had fallen into a trap. "You..you're the traitor?!," I drew out my knife and she giggled lightly. "Well, honestly Sebastian and every wolf I know is weak...," she replied as she took a step forward. "Even the Great One is possibly weaker than I." Stone took another step forward. "I was one of the few first children she had. I know so much more than any average Alpha. I know how to control the wild rabid wolves," she said. My eyes widened in surprise. That means that each rabid wolf is her extension of eyes and ears. Each wolf is a part of her. "You.. Planned all of this," I said. "I did..and what makes it even better...," she said as her form started to change and shift a little. Her face looked more defined and her hair turned silver and got shorter. Her exterior looked male now. And I couldn't recognize the features at all. "I am Abel, Stone's mate," he replied. I felt a familiar presence as Ayden jumped out and growled at Abel. Sebastian shifted back as he had cuts, bites, and bruise marks all over him from battling. "I KNEW IT BOTH OF YOU BECAME ONE!!," Sebastian growled angrily. Two mates can actually become one being and one wolf if their wills are to be as such. Stone who said that her mate was killed didn't lie but the moment Abel died he became one with Stone's body. "It's nice to see you again too Sebastian...," Abel smiled. Sebastian growled as his eyes turned gold. "You too Ayden..," Abel said. Abel then looked at me as the rabid wolves that surrounded us slowly began to come out of the forest growling at us with red glowing eyes. "It's always better as one. Rather than being alone..," Abel said. "But.. I did in fact die and I'm a little pissed at that." Sebastian stood in front of me, "You will not take him!!" Abel laughed, "Oh but I have taken so many lives already what's to say a few more??" He looked at me, "I want him.. And so does Stone we both have grown interested in him since he smells so sweet. Like..a fresh kill.. Like mating.. Like first love." Sebastian growled, "Back the FUCK off. You will have to go through me, and I doubt you will even make it that far." I was frozen I couldn't move or think, I was scared for Sebastian and scared of Abel as well as Stone. Kaz died protecting me, and I didn't want the same fate for Sebastian. The wolves then began to lounge at Sebastian and Sebastian pounced back at them throwing them and growling angrily. He shifted and ran further into the wolves as the rabid wolves followed pursuit. Abel bit his lip and came forward towards me. I snapped back to reality and thrusted my knife forward at him but he grabbed my hand stopping the motion seconds before I grazed his skin with the blade. "I'm starting to see why Sebastian likes you.. He takes interest in fiesty boys..," he smirked. I kicked him hard in the abdomen and started to dash towards the trees to loose him but he grabbed my arm before I could even start and threw a punch in my side that made me double over in pain. "You know.. Before you were even in the picture Sebastian and I used to mate. Stone allowed it because she used to mate with him too..," he laughed. I grabbed his arm and shifted my weight flipping him over me and on to his back on the ground. I held my knife high to stab him and he kicked me in the face making me stagger back as he got up. "But you..seem like more fun than him.. Stone and I are just dying to--," Sebastian lounged at Abel in wolf form and Abel shifted as well. The both were snarling and biting at each other savagely. Bits of fur and skin were flying everywhere. I wanted to intervene because at that rate Sebastian would end up dying. I grabbed my knife and could only think of one thing. He remembered when Mr. Morgan told him of a tale of a woman who was mortal who had a wolf alpha as her lover. The alpha was going against another alpha in their wolf forms and the battle was a dead set match. The two Alphas were both the same in power and strength. To save her lover the woman stabbed herself and covered herself in her own blood and as the other alpha let his wolf's hunger take over he came towards the woman lounging at her and ripped at her flesh and as he did so the woman's lover was able to place his teeth on the Alpha's neck and kill it. But in turn she died from her injuries and the Alpha howls can be heard on a still night as he cries for his lover, his Completion's death. I glanced at Sebastian and smiled knowing that this possibly was the only way. I stabbed the knife into my side as the blood immediately began to flow out into my hands. As soon as I did so Stone and Abel's wolf form looked at me for a split second and Sebastian lounged forward to bite it's neck only to get his eye clawed out as Stone and Abel's wolf reacted just in time. I could hear Sebastian and Ayden suffer from the blow as they both began whimpering and trying to still hold their ground as the pieces of their eyeball was in the dirt. Stone and Abel seemed to chuckle under their horrendous growls and that's when I quickly covered myself in in my blood. Stone and Abel glared at me as they were trying to fight their hunger. It was working, as the wolf started to dash towards me unable to hold off it's hunger any longer. But suddenly I saw the familiar etched staff whack the wolf and knocked it down. It was Kaine. Kayden also immediately blew some of her wolf's bane into the wolf's eyes and threw up her beads that immediately trapped Stone and Abel in a confined circle. The wolf growled and was unable to move at all. "Urie!! Oh my god, Urie are you okay?!!," Kayden yelled. I looked as I saw Sebastian pawing at his eye as the blood loss was starting to make me unconscious. "Se.. Sebastian.. s..ave," was all I could manage to say as I completely blacked out.
