now lets go into what it is...
Frisk and Gaster met way back in the Underground, and since then have been friends. Gaster explains that the reason they can interact is due to compatible souls, and that if they tried, they could tear this particular Gaster out of The Void and merge. 7 years of hard work later, they successfully combine souls and share Frisk's body, but thanks to the rip they made to get Gaster out, their universe was destroyed, and they were forced into another one! Again, thanks to the instability caused by ripping Gaster out of The Void, rips in time-space are occurring all over the multiverse, and it's up to Frisk and Gaster to stop the creatures of the void coming out and sew the tears back up with their newly acquired magic.
