Chapter Four: Date?

Buzz buzz "Mmmmm Bumblebees" I whisper Buzz Buzz "Why are you shaking Mr. Buzzle?" I shook awake from the third Buzz 'What the-?' I get up and rub the sleep from my eyes. I snatch my phone from my desk.
Dre Dre- Did u txt Samikou-San Yet?
Vetty- No! I TOTLY FORGOT ILL DO IT NOW!
I set my phone aside and jump in the shower. I wash my hair and Im already done. I grab a red t-shirt, a green creeper hoodie, a green skirt and some sneakers and slip into my clothing. Not having anything to do I browse Pinstagram and Lumbr. A knock on my door caused me to stop browsing and open the door. "Konichiwa Yvette-Chan" Ayaka bowed. "Konichiwa Yaka-Chan" I say without looking away from my MyPhone. We started to walk to the park and I then remembered Samikou
Vetty- Hey Its Yvette....
This isn't awkward at all, until he responded almost instantly
Sami- Well I could of guessed that 'Vetty'. Anyway what are you doing?
Ahh he speaks so formally, I cant text him the way I usually do, its embarrassing
Vetty- I am at Aura Park with Ayaka-Chan. You know the one down Pinc Road?
As I hit send I give myself a cheer.
Sam- What a coincidence, me and Toma-San are here too!
"Haha no way!" Ayaka laughed. I pushed her flustered. "S-shut up! Toma-Kuns here too" her face flares with red and she glares at me.
Sami- Hey maybe Toma-San, Ayaka-Chan, you and I can hang out. We should meet by the bench. You know the one near Aura Waters?
I look at Ayaka for approval as she rolls her eyes and nods.
Vetty- Sounds good! We'll see you guy in a couple minutes
Sami- Cool
Cool? COOL? "Lets hurry!" I yell grabbing her wrist. I ran faster than I ever had in gym as I saw Samikou in the distance my stomach began to churn but I kept running. Once they noticed us they waved their hands. "H-hey!" I panted out reaching near the bench. "Yo" Toma says giving a peace sign. "Konichiwa Yvette-Chan, Ayaka-Chan" he smiles at Ayaka who glares at him. "You guys know eachother?" Ayaka crossed her arms and looked away in anger as Sami laughed nervously "You were always stubborn baby sister" My jaw dropped
"DONT CALL ME THAT SAMIKOU!" Ayaka growled. I looked at them back and forth. "SISTER? YOU GUYS ARE RELATED?!" They nod "Ayaka Saniki? Samikou Saniki?" Toma pointed out. "Im not believing it"I said as I heard Ayaka sigh embarrassingly. "Sooo what should we do?" I ask mostly referring to Samikou. "Did you bring money?" I nod "We could go get ice cream" he suggested. I nodded wickedly catching up with his stride. Behind me Ayaka and Toma whispered to eachother but I ignored it. "Sooo Sam-Kun... Do you have any sibling besides Ayaka?" He shook his head "You?" I give a nervous grunt "His name is Daniel" Sam gives me a look of surprise "Oh Dan? Daniels a good friend of mine" I perk up "Really?" He nods "You know.. I thought you'd be one of those other cocky playboys like the rest of the second years" I confess my worry, he gives out a chuckle "And I thought you would be one of the first year spastics. But your okay Mason" He smiled 'Mason? He called me from my last name? A-A new nickname?' I didnt notice I was staring until he spoke me back to reality "Yvette you okay?" I nod frantically "Its seems Toma and Ayaka have ditched us" He says pointing behind us. I looked where they used to be and sighed. "What should we dooo....." I asked awkwardly. "Go to the ice cream shop" he said like it was obvious. "Y-You mean togther?" I asked fearfully. He nods and grabs my arm. My face set ablaze as he dragged me to the ice cream shop.
The little bell rang as he opened the door still dragging me by the arm. It was only until we were fully inside that he let go. "What will it be?" The shop keeper asked.
"Rocky Road" Sam anwered
"Huh um Mint Moose Tracks please"
He nods and we pay and receive our ice cream. Sam guided me towards one of the tables that I gladly sat at. I was so caught up in Lumbr I didnt notice the buzz buzz until the second buzz.
Yaka- Heyyyy WYD?

Toma-She means hows your date?
I growled slightly at the words before smiling wickedly
Vetty- Its not a date but its pretty amazing were at the ice cream shop. So where are you guys on your date?
Toma- Date? What date? No date here!
Yaka- Yvette I swear to god! This is NOT a date.
Vetty- Sooooo then why are you guys alone? Together?
Toma- Id ask you the same Vette
Vetty- Because you guys ditched us to be alone together
And like that I shut off my phone.
"So Yvette, do you have any hobbies?"
"Yeah actually, I like drawing a lot. How about You?" I said awkwardly
"I dont have any hobbies, only sports which is, football, and vollyball" I nod understandingly BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ Buzz buzz

Pasta Paris- Hey Yvette!
Vetty- Hey....
I give a nervous sigh, "Whats the matter?" Sam asks.

"Im texting Paris, yesterday her boyfriend tried kissing me..." his face shoots up in surprise and I nod truthfully. "He tried to play a Pocky Game with me but Zack intervened

Vetty- Hanging out with Samikou
Pasta Paris- Saniki? Oooooooh.
Vetty- Paris we need to talk
Pasta Paris- about?
Vetty- Kade. ... .
Vetty- I had Pocky and he wanted to play a Pocky Game, and tried kissing me twice saying you didnt have to know
Pasta Paris-R U SERIOUS? THAT SECOND YEAR CHEATER! IM GOING TO KIL HIM!
Vetty- Calm down...
She never texted after that. I sigh looking at the time. "This is really fun! But I have to go home soon" he nods "Same as me, my parents are strict, Oh Ill be right back, bathroom" and with that he left. I browse my phone before someone tapped my shoulder. I hum in response as the voice yells "Not dating huh?" I cock my head and stare into Yoshino and her posses eyes. "Pfff what a lier" Naomi laughed to herself. "Agreed" Yuri scoffed. "Were just friends! Were just hanging out" I truthfully yell "Yup sure thing. Welp see you Monday baka (idiot)" Yoshino walked out the door as Naomi and Yuri scurried out to keep up with her. I sigh just as Samikou comes out of the bathrooms "Hey, I have to go REALLY soon, do you want me to walk you home?" He asked as I shook my head "No thank you, but Arigato (thank you)" He nods and walks me out of the ice cream shop. "Hey remember to text me anytime to hang out alright?" I nod as he walks the opposite way of me.

When I get home my brother begins pestering me with questions.
"Where were you? Ayaka said she wasnt with you!"
"I was with Samikou Toma and Ayaka but Ayaka and Toma ditched us so me and Samikou hung out" he glares suspiciously before nodding approvingly. My mom ran down the stairs. "You were with a boy? A BOYFRIEND?" I sigh, another LOOONG night ahead of me.
