You sat listening to the diss track to the venue and its security, and every few minutes, Nathan's hand would raise and move to the flow of his own lines. Your hand, though, was lost in his hair as you flashback to that night.
You sat nodding your head to the flow of Skate's words as you wonder how much longer the show would be on.  They had already been drama earlier in the night and you could see that the chaos was starting to brew between everyone in the arena. You continue to fold some shirts before you heard some light yelling. You looked up to see fans fighting and you could do nothing about it so you started to move towards the front. As you move towards the front, the lights cut on and the music stopped. Someone with some type of megaphone started yelling about how the show was over. Skate and everyone on the stage was confirming that the show is not over to the fence. You were thoroughly confused about how quickly everything had escalated after the slowdown once Derek had left. As you made your way to the stage, you saw Skate reach down and grab someone and pull forcefully. Soon, Skate was thrown on the stage and fighting against three big men, and you could do nothing but scream as you were held back away from the stage and away from skate. You fought against the man holding you back - you needed to see skate. Soon, you slipped through his grasp and Sate and his friends are already up and moving away from the stage area and backstage. You reached up and hugged Skate from the back, and he turned around quickly. He looked down at you and hugged you tightly not saying a word. Soon, his friend nudged him on the shoulder telling him to go ,and he let his friend lead the way. Skate stood in front of you walking towards the tour bus. skate started to get emotional about what happened that night and you could do nothing but rub his back. As you move up his back, you notice cuts and bruises and abrasions and you're not happy about the fact that your man got abused doing his own show. Fans were as comforting as they could be, singing songs to make sure Skate knew that he was supported. After you climbed on the tour bus, you could do nothing but give skate hugs. There was nothing to be said and nothing to be heard.
Looking back at that day, you realized that it had grown you and Skate closer together. You were not happy that it happened but Skate wanted to find the silver lining in everything. His silver lining for that night was that he knew he had a girl that would ride for him. No other girl will ever share the memory of that night with Skate like you had. It was hard to get through that week without seeing a bruise on him and having to excuse yourself to let your emotions out.
You sighed and kissed Skate on the forehead.
He looked up at you, mid line, and smiling, showing them dimples.
