CHAPTER VIII

For the past few days Baekhyun could sense the growing closeness between Jongin and Eunji. He knew that Jongin was just a naturally caring guy but the fact that he was caring about Eunji made him shook his head. It was not that he's jealous; there was no freaking way he would be jealous, that was what he always told to his self. He was still suspicious about the girl; he was starting to be okay with her until the fish incident. He kept on thinking on why she would not want to eat fishes and even vomit. If she had allergies, it could be possible, but she had amnesia, how could she know? And besides, she was eating fish for the time she had stayed with them, well she never actually knew because she just ate whatever was served. But actually Eunji didn't tell anything about having allergies or such; in fact she didn't tell anything which made her more suspicious. Also, when she fell the other day, she said that she didn't know what a hospital is, Baekhyun also noticed that she was acting like a child that was kept from this world. She was too clueless and too innocent.

"Eunji!" Baekhyun called one morning when he saw the girl giggling with Jongin about something.

"Neh?" Eunji immediately went to him

"Why are you not doing your work? Wipe the tables!" He ordered her

"But I'm already done wiping the tables" she reasoned to him but Baekhyun just shook his head

"It's not clean yet" He ran a finger on the table and showed it to her afterwards "Look!"

"But--"

"No buts just do it!" He said and walked away leaving Eunji with mouth open

"Tss, it's already clean. There's no dirt on his fingers. What did I do again to him?" Eunji murmured threw the cloth on the table

"Don't mind him, maybe he's on his period" Chanyeol walked to her and joked to lighten up Eunji's mood after Baekhyun's little sermon, but the girl seemed to be confused

"Period?" she asked

"Yeah you know, monthly period?" He said, she should know right?

"Don't tell me she didn't know that? It's a girl thing right?" Kyungsoo whispered to Jongin, but the younger just shrugged.

"Hyung is just jealous" Sehun said as he joined Eunji and Chanyeol

"And why would he be?" Eunji asked as if it was the most impossible thing

"Because we are all friends now and he's not. He just wants to befriends you noona, but is just too shy admit it" Sehun explained

"I thought we're friends already? But if not then I'll befriend him" Eunji said cutely and smiled showing her cute eyesmile

"Maybe he wants to be more than friends" Chanyeol teased

"Will you please all go back to you work!" Baekhyun yelled, who just showed from nowhere and in they all rushed to their places while laughing.

"Baekhyun your head is hotter than the morning sun, chill" Chorong said as she turned the sign of the café to open.

The day continued for them as ordinary, customers come and go, Jongin was once again surrounded by girls, Sehun busied himself with making bubble tea, Kyungsoo was still inside his beloved kitchen, Eunji and Chanyeol were having a break but they stayed inside the café. They didn't want to be burn alive under the scorching sun.

"Summer is sure approaching fast" Chanyeol said and fanned himself, the air condition of the café was not enough to cool him.

"It's so hot" Eunji whined and wiped her sweat
