"Hey there" someone said it was Lucas I didn't bother to answer
"Maya can you just look at me please?"

"Maya you need to eat or get out of the room please everyone's worried about you"
"I don't want to why can't anyone else see that Lucas please just leave me"
"I'm trying to help you Maya you won't answer your phone the door or eat I'm worried about you everybody is"
"Lucas if you do care you would leave me alone"
"I'm not I'm gonna stay here till you eat"
"If I do would you please stop worrying?"
"Okay would you want me to bring it to you or you wanna go out?"
"I don't think going out is a great idea" I said he nod and leaves but I stop him

I was finishing up my work when someone called I check the caller ID and it was Cory I picked it up
Shawn:Hey Cor why'd you call?
Cory:Shawn we need you now or never

Cory:it's about Maya remember Katy died a week ago before you left?
Shawn:of course I do
Cory:well Maya won't come out of her room and won't eat were all worried on what could happen to her
Shawn:okay Cory I'll be there as soon as I finish my work in Maryland just keep her safe for me okay
Cory:will do Shawn will do

Cory: bye Shawn
As I hung up I know that I needed to be there for her but I can't instead I'm stuck here I need to be there for her I'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe

After a long battle with Maya about chicken soup she finally gave in then after a while she fell asleep I was trying to go but she stop me now I think she won't I just played with her hair then I got a text message from my mom that I needed to go home I just slowly got out of the room to see everyone looking at me

"Thank you Lucas for taking care of her" Mrs.Matthews said I nod
