Chapter 26 "Sorry"

((--MinYeong's POV--))

"Im so bored." I started to browse the Internet for research until I saw an epic opportunity for my tutoring minions.

"Brain storming...." I kept on reading the article, Blah blah blah and this and that.

Ding! dong! A loud doorbell was heard throughout the Joo's residence.

"Who could it be this time?" I checked the CCTV footage inside the basement.

"Pa!?" I entirely doubted the whole situation here, why would my father waste time on a normal sunny day outside?

As I open the door, my father and my sister MinSoo surprised me with a large birthday cake.

"Surprise!" MinSoo greeted.

"Happy birthday my little girl." My father turn a sunny day to a very dramatic one.

"Pa! My birthday was yesterday!" I slammed the door shut.

"I told you it was yesterday." JooMinSoo whispered to Joo SeokJong.

"I have to keep it together... I'll call Mark and the others." I grabbed the phone from under the bed, I started dialing his phone number... What was it again?

I asked yugyeom for a favor.

"What!? Why'd you want to know his phone number!? I was happy you called but I'm hanging up now!" Did Yugyeom just hanged up on me? Seriously, not today.

"Hum hum hum hum." I went to the outdoor swimming pool outside the house, I saw an unusual person sitting on the farthest shade.

"Yugyeom said you were looking for me." Mark said in a tired voice.

"Did you rushed just to get here!? What if my dad sees you!?" I pulled his ears inside the house but my father suddenly slams the door open where I was about to head and throw Mark whom I'm holding here.

"Annyeong papa Joo." Mark greeted my dad which turned me to irritate more on him.

"Let's talk." My father swishes his index finger for us to follow.

"Mark I want to meet your mother."

Dad seriously?!

"Again with this matter!" I rushed through their rough conversation, then I slammed the door through my room.

"What's with her?" Mark doubted.

"It's like this... Her sister MinSoo and I thought that today is her birthday, but it was actually yesterday. I heard she wanted to talk to you but why did you came here?" SeokJong fills the empty cup with wine.

"It's actually complicated..." Before Mark could finish his prepared answer, papa Joo jumps to the main topic.

"Stop!" Papa Joo made Mark jump from the couch.

"Go get her, say sorry for me." Papa Joo taps Mark's shoulders with his right arm.

"Arrasseo(okay) arrasseo(okay)" Mark nodded.

Mark went knocking on MinYeong's door.

"MinYeong! Ms. Nerdy girl!"

He's so irritating! I can't even concentrate reading the new book Junior gave me, I kept staring at the drawing on the bookmark.

"Who's that from?" Mark whispered through my ears saying nonsense.

"Why do you care?" I hid the bookmark on my latest page.

"Can't your boyfriend get a little jealous?" Why is he always teasing me!?

"It says... May your wishes come true ~Jr., so... It's from Junior. Are you sure you don't have feelings for your sister's EX?" I took the bookmark and hid it away from Mark.

"Why do you always joke around!? There are matters which we don't have to make fun of!!" I opened the door and pushed Mark outside.

"How did he climb here?" I glanced on the shallow and wide window inside the bedroom.

"Why do you have to be cold-hearted?" A few minutes passed Mark went swimming disregard what just happened earlier.
