New friends come & old friends go

Troy's POV:

I'm still unsure about who Patrick is. And I need to find out but Y/N cannot find out about it or she will hate me forever. I'm not saying I don't trust her, I'm just saying I don't trust this Patrick guy.

I decided to pay a little visit to Patrick. They better not be more than friends. We made a deal and that is that he stays away from Y/N.

Your POV:

I wonder why Patrick has been ignoring my texts- he's probably still mad at me but it's already been two weeks. 
Luckily I bumped into him on campus, but when I called his name, he just ignored me and acted like I wasn't there. I tried calling after him again, I wasn't sure if he heard me or not the first time. He just carried on walking away.

Patrick's POV:
I can't believe Troy would say that. I mean it's not like he's a mean person or anything- he can just be a little overprotective at times. Y/N ran into me on campus and I just ignored her because Troy and I made a deal. I felt really bad because Y/N seemed desperate to get my attention and I just walked away.
I was too busy thinking about Y/N that I bumped into a girl and knocked all the books and things she was carrying straight out her hand. As I bent down to pick up the books I got a glimpse of her face behind her chestnut brown hair. She was gorgeous.
I was speechless so I said the first thing that came to my head.
"You pretty" .
Really, did I just say that out loud. Smooth, Patrick, real smooth. I could feel my cheeks turn bright red.
Luckily she just laughed it off and said "You handsome" to me, took the books out of my hand, blew me a kiss and walked off. Without hesitation I quickly ran after her. "Wait I didn't catch your name" I said. "Minty. Yours?" Minty asked. I forgot my name for just a second "Patrick, Patrick Stump" I replied.  "Well see you around Patrick" she winked. "See you around Minty" I reply with I smirk.

A/N: I'm so sorry I haven't updated in like a bazillion years so I gave you a sort of longer chapter. I couldn't think of anything interesting to write until my friend helped me think of an idea so this chapter is dedicated to her. Thank you Minty obsessedmuchfangirl for always voting and commenting on my chapters and helping me come up with this idea.
