Chapter 2

I looked at the bright screen as it Illuminated. 'Hey don't forget today's valentine's day!'. I groaned to myself as i silently remembered that Today was valentine's day with the follow up of my schools valentine dance. And of course like every cheesy book i have read i don't have a date to the dance. I was hoping that my crush would ask me out but that never happens. Dose it? Who knows it might happen.I decided that the only way to get asked out is to look cute. The boy i like is a Jockey gamer type. His name is scott and has snow white blonde hair.We are friends and we talk a lot but i don't think that he is gonna ask me out.I realized that i'm wearing athletic clothes so i think this is my best bet. I looked at my phone and saw what time it was. 5:50. I have and hour and ten minutes. I decided that i was gonna go get presents for my friends.I raced down the stair way and fell as usually.

"Dad!" I screamed not realizing he was in front of me.

"Yes Andrea?" He asked

" Can i have some money to buy valentines for my friends?" I replied in a singsong voice

"Sure" My dad handed me a $100 bill.

"Woah dad where did you get all of this money?" I asked like a curious cat.

"Ways" He winked.I grabbed my keys and ran out of the house. My car was there waiting for me. I Hurriedly got in started the car buckled up and Started to drive.There were not a lot of people there at the store. I quickly grabbed 6 things for my six friends. Then i went down the aisle and saw a bear with headphones on that said "I'd pause my game for you <3" I knew it was perfect so i quickly grabbed it off the shelf and got a big box of chocolates for Scott. As i was walking i saw a little girl starting to cry.

"But mommy!!!!!!! I want the box of candy to give to Tyler!!!" The little girl pleaded

"But honey i can't afford it! We need to buy food to eat!" The mom said

"Not to Barge in or anything but I can buy her the candy, I can help you get what ever you need so you can save your money."I Stepped in. I had just gotten paid 400$ So i wanted to help.The woman stared at me for a second then started to cry.
