Chapter 11

•Y/N POV•

I woke feeling well rested even though I ended up sleeping at 6 last night. "Sleeping beauty wake up" I heard Jake saying. "I'm awake" I said sitting up and smiling. "I'm gonna go back to my house and I'll text you where to meet me" he said. "um, ok but where are we going" I said curious. "somewhere we can talk in private" he said, "so our private spot" I said before he could finish. "yeah," he said leaving my room.

After I was done with my shower I got ready and then went to eat breakfast. "Morning," I said greeting my mom who was eating her pancakes. "Good morning sweetie, your pancakes are on the counter" She said smiling. Me and my mom had the BEST Mother/Daughter relationship she was like my best friend. I don't know how other people say they hate their moms. I LOVE her. "Thanks, mom" I said grabbing the pancakes. "So how was you and Jake's night" She said with a stern voice. "It was great, we had a lot of fun, Mom?" I said my voice getting lower at the end. "Yes Honey?" she said ignoring what I said about our night. Gosh! why does she hate him so much. "Why do you hate Jake" I asked my voice full of confidence. Where is this all coming from. Ugh! I'm stupid for asking, I should have never asked. "Because I don't think he considers you as a friend" She said looking up at me. "What do you mean?" I said sitting across from her. "Well he seems like he's using you and he's always all over you" she said and I was shocked did she really think that. That we had a thing "hahahahahaha OMG mom you're not serious are you?" I said laughing. "Yes I'm serious, me and your dad are going on a trip for two weeks so if you want you can invite Jen over so you won't be alone" She said and when she said Jen an instant flashback came to when I saw the picture of her and Austin. A tear made it's way down my cheek. "Honey? Are you ok?" My said pulling me into a hug as I began to sob. "No, She betrayed me and Austin I never thought this would happen after 2 years of dating him, he cheated on ,me with my own best friend" I said crying even harder. "Sweetie, don't cry no guy is worth your tears, now when did this happen" she asked. "When I was in Tennessee for the video" I said wiping the tears off my face. "Why haven't you told me earlier" She said "I'm sorry I know I should've" I said giving her a hug. "Now I don't want to see those tears ever again, they're not worth it ok remember that" She said grabbing her suitcase and putting it in the trunk. "You can tell who ever you want ok, Love you" she said as she drove off. I checked my phone, nothing but twitter and instagram notifications.

I decided to post a picture from last night. I chose a picture of me and Jake where his arms were around me and my arms were around his neck. I picked a filter then posted it with the caption as "Friendship #REUNITED". I started getting comments like "Is he your boyfriend", "You guys are cute together". I commented back as much as I can sometimes it's hard to get everybody, I'd love to but sometimes I just can't. I was in the middle of typing a comment when I got a text from Jake

Jake: Be ready at 2 I'll come and pick you up :)

Y/N: ok I'll be ready

I was applying some mascara when my phone started ringing, but it wasn't Jake because I had a different ringtone for him. I looked at the caller ID and it was Justin.

Y/N: "HEY!!"

Justin: "How's my beautiful best friend doing"

Y/N: "Great, missing you"

Justin: "well I got great news"

Y/N: "Really? what?"

Justin: "I"M MOVING TO LA"

Y/N: "OH MY GOSH REALLY? When"

Justin: "In March"

Y/N: "oh so I still have to wait"

Justin: "haha no I'm coming to visit later this week"

Y/N: "You can stay at my house"

Justin: "haha ok that'll be great"

We finished our conversation and planned that I'll pick him up from the airport. I felt my phone Vibrate.

Jake: I'm outside ;)

I grabbed my purse and put my shoes on then made my way out. I got in the car and he drove off.

The car ride was normal all we did was sing along to the radio. "Here we are" He said and I got out of the car and looked around. Oh My Gosh. I just stood there in surprise It was BEAUTIFUL. I jumped at Jake and hugged him as tight as I can. "Oh my gosh this is so beautiful Jake" I said. It was a place on top of a mountain where you could see all of L.A below us. He went back to the car and brought back with him a basket and a blanket. I was shocked.

"Why are you still standing come and sit" He said patting the spot next to him. "I'm just shocked, thank you" I said sitting down beside him. He got out two sandwiches handing me one then a jar of nuttella and strawberries. My jaw dropped "OH. MY. GOSH. MY FAVORITE!!!, How'd you know" I squealed. "Lol, I know you too well" He said smirking.

When we got done eating we just laid down and looked at the clouds. Jake got up and leaned on his elbow facing me. "You know how I said I had to tell you something" he said as I sat up to face him. "Yeah??" I said getting ready to hear whatever he had to say.

"I... I don't know how to say this but..." he said but I cut him off "Just say it" I was getting impatient

"I Love you and not as a friend but as something more" he grabbed my hands

"will you be my girlfriend..."
