••• 1 Year Later •••

~Short Summary of Past Year~

You and Jake broke up because he had to move again. So you guys just decided to keep your old friendship. You live in a new house, you haven't talked to Justin ever since your argument. You hear stuff about him and Selena that they broke up but you just ignored it. You and Jen are friends, Austin tries to get back with you but you don't let that happen. You and Jake facetime every other night, so you could keep in touch. You seem to have gotten over Justin, in the past year. You decided to just forget everything that's happened and move on.

I woke up getting ready for school, great I have to be at school during my birthday week. I got dressed quickly, then put light make up on. I grabbed my bag and was just about to go down the stairs then I remembered I had to get my duffle bag for soccer and cheer practice. Ya so I decided to play a sport, and well I made up my mind to be single for a while, I figured it'd be better that way.

I ate some breakfast real quick, then headed for Starbucks. It was like my morning routine, to go to Starbucks everyday. As I drove out of the drive way I noticed the house next door was sold, and someone was moving in. I tried to see who it is but the moving trucks blocked everything. All I could see was a guy in a hoodie, sunglasses, and skinny jeans. but I guess he's one of the workers that help you move.

I was in the middle of class with I felt someone throw a piece of paper at me. I turned around to face, Stacy, the biggest belieber in this school. She said that I was the reason him and Selena broke up. I was never involved in that. If they really broke up then it must've been something Selena had done to push Justin away. Stacy gave me a dirty look which I simply returned with a smile. I picked up the paper and opened it up. 'he's back ;) but you better back off' it said. Wait. wtf is that supposed to mean. who's back??

Jake??? Austin??? Justin?? why should I care. I took the paper and threw it away. The bell soon rang. I grabbed my bags and headed towards soccer practice. I want volleyball season back, it was much better, oh well soccer isn't bad either.

After soccer, I headed straight home, and as soon as I got there I went in the shower. I got dressed in pjs and put my hair in a bun, tying a bandana around my head, as a head band. Mom and Dad weren't home yet so I decided to go get something to eat. I grabbed my car keys, and purse. I drove out of the drive way and tried peeking at the new neighbors, but still couldn't tell who it is, but they sure had a nice car. I headed towards in and out. They have the best burgers ever.

I got my food to-go and headed back home. Just as I was passing the new neighbors I saw a shirtless guy. Around my age maybe a bit older like a year or two. But damn is he hot. I didn't notice my self slowing down until the guy waved, i wasn't focused on the face because I instantly sped up towards my drive way, and ran inside my house. I'm just so ready for my birthday, to see what my parents have planned for me. I know I'm having a party and all, but that's every year, I throw the best parties ever, maybe I can invite the new neighbor.

I finished the food, and then went up to my room to finish up my homework. I called Jen and told her to come over so we could work on our project. After a while she was knocking at my door. "Sooo who's the new hot neighbor" she said smirking. "Honestly I have no idea, but I'll be finding out soon" I said winking as she walked in. We headed straight to me room. We worked on the project for a bit. "Im getting hungry do you have any snacks" she said sitting up. "ya me too, go grab us some from that closet" I said pointing at the little closet I had for snacks in my room. "And get me a drink too, There's a small fridge in there too" I said as she got up shocked that I had a closet full of snacks in my room. Let's just say I'm a bit spoiled, well way more than a bit. But that's what I get when I'm an only child.

We were watching a movie when I heard my phone ring. I looked at the caller ID, mom.

Y/N:  Hey mom, What's up?

Mom: Hey honey I just wanted to let you know that me and your dad will be home a little late tonight.

Y/N: Ok, are we gonna ever get to have some family time

Ever since we moved my dad got a new job we barely ever spent time together.

Mom: This weekend for sure.

Y/N: for sure?

Mom: Yes, well i got to go baby see you later.

She hung up and we went back to watching the movie.

"Hey Y/N did you ever say hi to the new neighbor" Jen asked.

"No why would I" i said

"Because that's what your supposed to do, do you have any chocolate, or cookies?" she asked jumping up.

"Yeah we have a box of chocolates, that's un-touched" I said getting up.

"well go get it and lets go meet your new neighbor" she said grinning.

"umm ok" I said as I ran downstairs and got the box of chocolates from the pantry.

She slipped her shoes on, and I was in my Pj shorts, and sports bra, and slippers woe what a great first impression.

"Shouldn't I go changed" I suggested as we walked out the door.

"Nooo it's already late, we don't wanna get there at like midnight, lets hope he's not asleep" she said dragging me the box of chocolates in my hands.

We walked up the front porch, there was a light on so we guessed they're awake. Jen rang the bell pushing me closer towards the door. A few seconds later the door opened revealing a shirt less boy in his shorts and slippers I looke up to see the face... making me shake to the point i was about to drop the box and sent my heart racing.

"Y/N!?!?!?!?" he yelped in confusion and surprise.
