"Come on Clarke! I told Octavia that we will be there for lunch!" Bellamy calls to me as I dress Eliza. We get in the car and Octavia texts me. Hey Clarke what time will you guys be here by? Ashley is taking a nap and she will want milk in a few minutes so if Eliza and her want to play then we have to do it relatively soon.
I text back:
We are on our way we will see you in about 2 minutes. Eliza hasn't eaten yet so I have to feed her when I get to your house is that ok?
Octavia:
Ok see you soon!
We pull up to the drive way and Bellamy knocks on the door while I get Eliza. We walk in and Octavia is feeding Ashley so I feed Eliza. She took a nap in the car so she just needs food then she will be happy. After about 10 minutes Octavia and Bellamy and I sit down and eat. Lincoln is on a business trip. After an hour Eliza starts crying because she fell when she was trying to walk. Eliza has been learning to walk and soon she will start pre K. I pick her up and tell her it's ok. And she goes and plays some more. Octavia looks at me weird. "What?" I ask "how are you so good at this? Aren't you worried you'll mess up?" "That's just a part of being a parent."
