KittyCat' s POV

I woke up sprawled across the floor.

"ow" I said over and over rubbing my back. I grab my glasses from under the bed. I looked at the clock. 9:30. uhhhhh!!! why is so early!!! I drag myself to the closet and open it. I got out a red flannel shirt put that with some blue skinny jeans and my red high tops and let my hair down. I take my glasses off and set it on the counter. I looked at the pup who was still snoozing. I decided to put the dog I my bathroom with food and water. I closed the bathroom door and sighed.

"Ponyboy Curtis. his name. that's a handsome name...." my thoughts went wild. of his green-gray eyes sparkling. him whispering my name quietly through his soft, tender lookin lips, me running my fingers through his brownish blonde hair, him touching.... hey! snap out of it ole cat. you too young for that sorta stuff. get your mind outta that. shouldn't be growin a soft spot for a guy, your neighbor! you just met yesterday.

after my own conversation with myself, I went to the kitchen finding a note.

Mama went grocery shopping. if you wanna join me, you know the Dingo we saw on our way here? well im there if you need me. I got you another milky way bar by the way. it's in the fridge. sorry bout Eatin it I didn't know you had a connection or whatever. any way. see ya around.

haha. more candy for me. I actually laughed at Danny for being so gullible. I didn't expect a hot-shot like him to be that gullible. anyway, I washed my face and went out the front door. when I did I saw the house where Ponyboy lives, 2 boys come out in DX uniforms. one has dark hair and the other has golden brown hair. I walk down the street praying they don't come over, knowing that I'm shy and all, but as lean against the stop sign checking my pockets, the golden hair boy pats the dark hair guy on his chest, points my direction and they both grin. the golden boy takes the tooth pick out of his mouth and throws it and and walks my direction.

"just great..." I mutter and I look away. the dark hair one hollers at me.

"hey there little lady! you charge for havin' some fun?!" I scowl at him and start to storm down the street. they're following me.

"hey cut it out Steve that is no way to talk to a looker like her." I hear behind me. I whip around and cross my arms.

"what do you junky hoods want from me." the golden on took his hat off. the dark one sneered.

"your name?" the dark one asked annoyingly smart ads like

"spit your out first smart ass." the dark one spat.

"Steve Randal" I offered my hand then pulled away just as he was gonna shake it.

"and you?" I looked over at the golden one.

"Sodapop. Sodapop Curtis" Curtis? Ponyboy Curtis!!!

"Sodapop... are you ponyboy' s brother?" this boy was handsome enough to look like Prince charming hisself. he gave me a Hollywood star smile. if eyes could kill, I would've been shot and melted by the over load of hotness.

"I've seen you meet pone. he's a great kid." I smile at him.

"he sure seems like a doll. he musta gotten most of that from you." Steve expels at me. I return the same.

"so what's your name girlie?" Sodapop asks.

"Me? well a my name is a KittyCat Simmons. I have a brother Danny but he's at dingos... by the way I don't know where dingos exactly is... would you gentlemen escort me there?" Sodapop opens his arm for me to link to.

"anything for a neighbor. Steve! you gon'! it's your shift anyway." Steve curses under his breath while sodapop, the doll, takes me to dingos.
