First, let’s get one thing straight, I am not some selfish girl that looks for trouble. I don’t belong to a rich family. I haven’t done any real bad things in my life, no more than normal teenagers do. Yet my life decided to take a turn for the worst and it shipped my whole family to Liverpool, England. In the middle of my freshman year! My name is Annabeth and I in a world trouble now.
My friends and I are close. They're the best you could ever have. I guess you could say I was the leader of the little freshman group and I was proud of it too. My popularity was growing and my highschool life was pretty great. Until my parents broke the news.
I suggested, more like begged, my parents to let me stay with my aunt but they said she wasn’t “available” for babysitting. Whatever the hell that means. Sadly, she was the only person close enough to my school so it looks like I was stuck with moving to England.
My whole life was thrown under a bus in the middle of the freeway and I, of course, was without any hope of escaping this nightmare. That is why my whole life was changed. My parent promised I would be back for the beginning of my junior year but by then my whole social life could be plunged into eternal failure.
And that is exactly what happened, all because of the life I left behind.
