I brushed my long, platinum, blonde hair and braided it into a loose French braid. I put on a light coat of makeup, pulled on a long, silver sweater over my electric, blue tank top. And a pair of white converse, which matched perfectly with my cyan, blue leggings. Fashion has always been important to me, people judge you on how you look. And I like to set expectations high.

My little sister, Anna, is only a few months younger than me. People call us twins, but we're not. She has mid length, wavy, crimson hair. There's a thin, blonde strip in her hair, and we still haven't figured out how she got it. She has clear, peachy skin, and the most beautiful blue eyes. I'm easily and inch and a half taller than her, but her outgoing personality makes up for her height.

I still can't believe she's crushing on one of our targets. We've gone over the rules several times and love is so not an option. We don't have time for it, and I personally never want to fall in love. It makes you weak, it makes you vulnerable. I already have to protect my sister, I don't want to have to protect some boy as well.

"Elsa! Anna!" My father's booming voice called from downstairs.

I raced out of my room and down the stairs, Anna not far behind me. We've learned that when father calls you, you come down immediately. No matter what.

"Yes, father?" I asked.

"Yeah?" Anna asked.

Father glared at Anna.

"I-I mean yes Father." She mumbled nervously.

"No mumbling," he said to Anna. Then he looked back at me, I stood straighter. "Your mother and I are going on another work trip today. We'll be back by Saturday. Elsa's in charge, no parties, no friends over, no staying up late, and no dates. I expect you two to make your own dinner, no eating out, no take-out. I want both of you to spend no less than 4 hours studying and completing homework assignments, and after that you two are going to fill out the files that involve our already captured targets. Got it? Do not leave the house once you return from school, there's enough food in the house. Do not disobey me. There will be consequences."

I went over the list of rules in my head, same rules all the time, easy to follow.

"I hope you have a good time, dad." Anna says.

He glares at her again, "And do not speak unless spoken to."

She sighs and puts her hands behind her back. Father eyes us once more, then leaves. We wait for the door to lock, then we both sigh.

"I'll start with the files." Anna grumbles.

"We have to leave for school in 10 minutes, so be quick." I tell her.

I run upstairs, and put all my belongings back into my backpack. I insert a switchblade into my pocket, and a spare in my bag. Then I check my reflection once more, before slinging by bag across my shoulder and heading downstairs.
