Let's go back to the beginning of the Renaissance .....
The king and queen of the werewolves gathered their seven children and said that they were going to attend to a meeting across the kingdom (one about the rising problem of black magic).Then they told their sons and daughters to plan out the annual family outing, so everyone would enjoy it, but it would never be taken.
When the king and queen were halfway across the kingdom, when they were ambushed by small band of unnamed rebels.The king and queen were killed by a tomahawk axe from the rebellious werewolves' artillery, after they had tried to escape. They were brutally murdered, and all of the kingdom was thrown into a state of anarchy and turmoil.
The subjects fought and turned to civil war to decide who was leader, but then the seven heirs to the throne stepped forward. They split the kingdom of the whole world into the continents, and took their share of the subjects to their territory.
Eventually the posterity of these tribes began to show different attributes because of the minuscule genetic pool of their tribes. Then these tribes only had a few official structures and villages as their kept territory, and all werewolves were allowed to roam outside their tribe territory in peace.
Meanwhile, the tribe leaders/heirs hunted for the insurgent werewolves who beheaded their parents. The anarchist werewolves were meddling in what the king and queen had forbidden, dark magic. These werewolves became possessed by the creatures they had asked for help, they had impulses that they couldn't control. In other words, they have two personalities, an inner wolf they can't escape from. These wolves made a secret, outlawed tribe that scattered to all kingdoms, and had hidden strongholds. They call themselves the Axe tribe, named after rebellious ancestors weapons. They are all possessed by the spirits they named the darkness, and they were tricked into thinking that these instincts and impulses were good, instead of bad.
So it remains for the prophecy to come true, and this is how it goes.
When the Axe rises to off some heads, those rebels will fall, they'll all be dead. To save the people from a war, seven tribes were made, and the kingdom was torn. Many years later, history repeats. The world will end, or so it seems. A chosen seven, the heirs will arise. They'll bring about the Axe's demise. With power great and heart so strong, an alpha is destined to sing the song. The leader will reunite the tribes and make peace, though the true hero might end up deceased. The world of wolves that was set ablaze, is still burning till the day, When this prophecy is fulfilled And the hero, sent as a sacrifice, will be killed.
